Whisper of the Heart is the best Ghibli, Ocean Waves and Only Yesterday are underrated, and Howl and Nausicaa (anime) are overrated.

You can like Miyazaki and still be contrarian, you just have to put Porco Rosso ahead of Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke.
