The Quinella scenes are amazing, but the rest of it is fairly average.
The way I saw it was lievre's slapdash ahosys scans for the robot clone army covered the core parts of a player's psyche to replicate their persona and fighting style. Suppressed philia lust was part of kirito's. So, in a way, without those pesky inhibitions the clone kirito is more honest about real kirito's desires than real kirito could ever be.
I'm sure there will be a lot of e-celebs whining about this shot and even make parallels to Batman vs Superman but her whole arc is her rising up against the "gods" of her world. Literally /ourgirl/ and very much based and SMTpilled. Great shot.

Going off of the LN, PoH and her are the only people he coup de grâces after defeating them. Everybody else he either spares or kills in the course of combat. FDD is one of the best fics I've ever read, not just for SAO but altogether. It's a fucking masterwork. There's almost too much effort put into it, like a fully fleshed out magic language system with its own syntax, plus star wars clone wars-tier political maneuvering. Did I mention it has a website? ayashi.net/sao/fdd-index.html Duet is a dedicated kirito/kizmel fic and the slow burn there finally flared up in the last chapter. With a companion who by her nature isn't a waffling moron, Kirito doesn't get the chance to become the ultra depressed loner he was in canon. It's super fucking cute and satisfying and does a lot with characters other fics rarely touch, most notably Philia (aincrad human pre-hollow area) and Rain.

She's extremely evil, but I don't think she's lacking in charisma. Her seduction skills are pretty incredible if you look at Eugeo (and the audience). Also, she's extremely intelligent and dangerous. She did develop the first offensive spell, and was also the one who unlocked the keys to godhood before anyone else. If she wasn't operating on memory limits, then there would have been no way that Kirito would have shanked her. But just like any other SAO villain, she's off the wall sadistic and evil.

I'm an animeonly, is this shit as rushed as it feels? It seems like the spider was an important character that I was supposed to feel bad for, but it kind of just fell flat because it rarely showed up Also all of the big moments and fights go by in like 5 minutes. Eugeo being an Integrity Knight for what accounted to maybe a quarter of an episode was a joke. I don't know, I'm still enjoying myself but I get the feeling it's not a great adaptation
Yeah. The problem with SAO is that a lot is tild through internal monologues which doesn't really work for an anime format. You can't just have the screen freeze for 5 mins while Kirito or Eugeo has a monologue.
