Dante is a depressed ass hiding his family problems behind layers of sarcasm.
Though the anime depicts that he's utterly alone and depressed pretty well and this doesn't change until DMC5.

Morrison's and Nico's files say nothing of his amorous endeavours; but the boy was attacked as a child and had his entire family killed by demons with a grudge against his papa. He's clearly fucking Lady constantly but keeping it hidden so none of his fathers old enemies attack her while he's off in hell or out in Fortuna on business away from her. She's no slouch, but also not 1v1 Belial tier.
One of the few faults I have with DMCV is it doing Lady and Trish dirty like that, hopefully it gets rectified and with something canonical unlike SE
