One of the greatest Mahou Shoujo anime.
Consistently good, among the 214 episodes there's not a single weak one. And some episodes are true masterpieces. I consider the Hosoda-directed Dokkan 40 the best episode of anything, ever.

Some stretches of the show make me question that too when it gets too episodic. But usually there's enough good "main" episodes to keep me hooked and remind my why I started watching in the first place

doremi is my favourite anime of all time but even i recognize that there are a small handful of episodes that are just crap. dokkan 14 is 22 minutes of toy shilling and unfunny comedy and sharp 45 is just pointless and dumb

The main plot is easily the weakest but I found the episode quality to be on average the highest. It especially picks up when Nagamine comes onboard around halfway through. Motto doesn't have most of my favourite episodes in the series but its always a good time
