It's a smut gambling show where both smut and gambling are bad. When it comes to smut it occasionally has couple of nicely drawn shots that last for like 3 seconds and you need to be like 12 to get off to that AND the artwork is significantly worse than in the manga, and when it comes to gambling, well, I know "no stakes" is just such a common criticism that it might be white noise at this point especially to people who actually like it. But the way I see it and why it's not interesting, how do I say it, the common defense is that "oh no, like, the student council members get fucked up, that gay guy with glasses has grey hair now" but it's just not interesting because that guy who got grey hair is essentially as important as Queen Beryl's underling in Sailor Moon, you just don't give a fuck what happens to him, he's there to take the fall regardless. It's fairly predictable who and when will get fucked up, the epitome of that was absolutely fucking terrible anime original last episode of S1, fucking writers of Soul Eater anime ending probably masturbated to how it left both fans of manga and animeonlys disappointed.

She has lost multiple duels, the manga gambles now mostly serve as devices for other characters. Yumeko now is full psychopath and the focus of the manga is mostly on the side characters even in the duels she is in. In the last, like, 4 or 5 gambles she didn't make the deciding move.

You can hate the show, but reiterating Mother's Basement talking points of all people is stupid.

I think it's safe to say we're not getting a season 3 anytime soon after this. The manga is going at a snail's pace after all.
