The continuation of Mob Psycho really is up in the air. The Bones team obviously fucking loves this series and it's not like it's totally bombing sales wise. I just love the fact that Reigen constantly tries to get validation from Serizawa meanwhile Serizawa kind of humors him a lot and canonically thinks Reigen is full of shit (despite being very well-meaning in his intentions). It's a very clever subversion of expectation. The Shimazaki fight was insane, the quick environment changes and sakuga everywhere. Easily the best animation of the season

The only thing they cut this episode that I was a little sad about, was sassy Mob spraying juice from the soda can on one of the Claw grunts. Same feeling when they cut Dimpe!Mob with a gun last week. However I see why they cut it since it doesn't progress the plot in anyway and all of the amazing animation definitely made up for it if not more than that.

I should rewatch S1 to be sure, but every time Mob loses his patience and actively seeks to stop someone his appearance switches to something really creepy. I read the manga and they translate the creepy Mobs in the anime variably well. However what really makes the difference for me now is how they add this creepy music to it as well now. It's like a squeaky/scratchy noise, which was really noticeable to me during the house fire scene when Mob lost his mind. And it was back again multiple times this episode when Mob had his mind set on teaching HQ claw members a lesson.
