Remember the Kamachi 10th anniversary PV where she flies in on a metal platform, grabs Shinobu from Zashiki Warashi and flies away? There's literally nothing stopping Mikoto from doing a static shock and flying around on a metal platform except Kamachi just doesn't want her to.

At no point was looking at either Gunha or Touma as more than flies, all of her focus was on destroying the windowless building, not even Gunha tried to retaliate, he was just deflecting attacks and protecting himself while they worked out a way to stop her.
The Accel manga is shit in part because of this. The dude simply does not have an opponent to face. Railgun at the very least had her first arc be more about her new acquaintances getting tangled up in something and the second is literally Sisters plus fighting with Item, followed by her getting fucking mindjacked and everyone else saving her instead. Accelerator's arcs have been him getting tangled up in magic bullshit he doesn't understand (and is unimportant) and just being stronger than anyone around.

This is the problem, though. Her powers by definition should be strong. Not stronger than macro reality warping, but still strong none the less.
I don't even understand why he has a problem with this. It's not even as outlandish as some of the other shit that happens in this series, but as soon as she gets to use her powers it's done. I feel like she's literally just restricted to her railgun but there's so much more. Railgun is cool and is a nice signature ability, but it shouldn't be anywhere as strong than a bolt of lightning that, with enough energy, should atomize most things in her way. She could control large groups of people manipulating their bioelectricity, EMP someone's organs to knock them out or straight up kill them.
I mean as a hero she obviously wouldn't be murdering people, but didn't she hold an entire skyscraper up like 5 books ago?

Let's be honest. The liquid proof railgun only exists so Kamachi can still maintain his claim that her railgun is her strongest move, even though it clearly wasn't. But yes, in NT13, she caught several office buildings the high priest threw, and set them down gently, and she also used her powers to sense everyone in the buildings and protect them all as soon as the buildings were thrown so they didn't turn into jelly.
It's easily her strongest feat, but you can just chalk it up to Kamachi not understanding how absurd it actually was.
She is strong but she is never going to be stronger than someone who can manipulate vectors or Dark matter. That's not including the magic side. I mean even now, Mikoto is barely in the game and that's only down to the AAA.

The LPR is really a team effort and cannot be done without Misaki and possibly the AAA as well. Her regular railgun seems to be quite weak now, especially compared to the other shit she has done.
So what are the chances Accel's third tree is another format thing and it's the better of neph and Coronzon because it is entirely foreign to them? It seems odd for Accel to get a power like that and it just be a raw power thing. Also the aeon change is the reason it works in the first place (just so Coronzon can join the magic gods in the shooting yourself in the foot club).
90% of this series works off of formating and rock paper scissors match ups despite what moat brain dead powerlevel fags believe, so I wouldnt be surprised.

Her powers don’t fit for controlled heroic fighting like Accel’s do.
They fit for mass murder. Microwaves, temperature and bioelectricity manipulation. Thunder and all forms of electricity attacks are guaranteed one-shots on 90% of meet bags. That’s without steeping into the territory of her just manipulating the “Electromagnetic Force” directly and dividing all matter by 0.
Thing is, doing any of that as a good guy is rather questionable. SasukeKoto on other hand has a free path to slaughter house.
In a way Mikoto with her abilities is very much like Kocroachine, but for different reasons entirely.
