Stop motion ANIMATION, which mind you its not it just has lots of cuts. Animation is anything that brings animas into something, you can stage the puppets and yell at them to act all you want even but once you have to bestow life on them its animation. You would consider Princess Tutu as pleb filter because it's animation is not anything too spectacular or bombastic, it's opening episodes are slow and methodical in establishing the world but are not traditionally exciting, and a show about dance and fairy tales is not a traditional popular subject.

In contrast, an anime like Gurren Lagann is a pleb magnet. Relying on eye grabbing visual presentation, shallow but rapid story beats that constantly send dopamine into the brains of the underevolved as they watch, and a focus on violent combat
