I watched a few episodes of it probably around the time it came out and enjoyed it quite a bit. I watched it in full recently though and it felt like it was trying too hard, though I still did enjoy it. Maybe I've just gotten more jaded since then. I only really remembered the violence from it though, not so much a lot of the ecchi stuff.

jokes are all about delivery. simply reading a joke is not nearly as funny as hearing it's delivery. some of the best dubs came from comedy because it's something that can't be translated over well into just text alone and vague sounds. i recommend the panty and stocking dub, or the konosuba dub or the space dandy dub.

user i think at this point you just hate all dubs for the sake of everyone has told you that you should if you can't appreciate comedy dubs. in most other cases subs are usually better than dubs but when it comes to comedy it's just not the case.
