Good work on the face and hair. The arms need more "substance" though. They look flat, lacking dimensional depth. Which especially shows where the hands disappear behind them. Don't be affraid of adding a certain thickness to them.
It's also not exactly how people usually cross their arms - when it comes to the distribution of weight: The wrists should securely rest on the forearms, which means that the one in front should visibly lie on the other arm frontside, not stick behind it. Not an easy pose for the arms though, and this criticism is kinda nitpicky.

You have a few options:
-Draw whatever the fuck you want, doodle cute shits or silly stuffs you like. You do this for fun, so never look up tutorial, never compare yourself to other artists. Who the fuck cares if you draw stickman with broken spine? You do this for >fun
-You want to be good, so start grinding on your fundamental. You're almost guaranteed to end up hate drawing because your early attempts at drawing limb and torso will result in wonky tree branch and you will do this for years until you're "allowed" to draw something you want
-You actually want to be good, then you can start by building up a habit of drawing. Draw whatever you want until you prefer to spend your free time drawing than watching animu or playing vidyas. At this point then you can start looking up tutorial. The actual learning is way, way less stressful when you already used to the time.

Not him, but /ic/ only ever want to fellate their own ego, talk themselves up and others down, be pretentious in general. Many of them don't really know what they're talking about and offer incredibly superficial criticism. They also don't seem to be able to take the perspective of a beginner asking for advice and throw things at beginners that most likely won't help them overcome the hurdles they, individually, are facing.
I don't think it's wrong to listen to them, but you shouldn't take them as seriously as they themselves do.

its not just anime but any style out there all need a foundation and that's what youre doing when youre drawing from real life. its easier to stylise something when you already understand in your imagination what its supposed to look like irl.
