I didn't watch ArcV nor 5ds yet but Gx and Zexal did it a lot and even showcasing cards their users didn't even have, for instance Yuma using that spell depicting Madolche Magileine and the field spell searcher. I'm sure this means he actually cares about Jin and the more time he's spending with him, even as a husk, is influencing Lightning little by little. Remember that Lightning even recognized he was afraid of his origin making him become fond of humans just like Yusaku did to Ai and that was the main reason he enclosed Jin's consciousness. I bet that Jin won't even need to be rescued, but he'll rather just be freed by Lightning along with Miyu and the other people who've been erased during this arc.

Just watched the ep, yeah, it really sucks to be a wageslave.
It was pretty ok to be honest, the animation looked like shit for moments and they tried to make it look cool in the most important scenes and that's very nice of them. It was amazing to watch Yusaku OTK his best friend and the flashbacks right before Kusanagi-san was deleted really hit my feelies. I had ecpected the Hanoi to save them with the program Kusanagi had sent them before logging into the VRAINS. Wonder what it's purpose will be now. Saving his brother from being deleted, maybe? Still, it doesn´t seem like Lightning will delete Jin's consciousness, or will he? I can´t wait for next ep! Again, I'll probably have to wait till the weekend to watch it and avoid the thread up to that day as well. I need Yang alrady.

After all lately Konami has been very generous with PC gaming by updating Legacy Of The Duelist back in 2016 and porting Duel Links. Link Evolution isn't a new game in the slightest and just releasing the same shit again would be pretty stupid even by Konami standards so I think an update at a later date is more realistic. After all like you said Konami has been supporting PC lately so they wouldn't really lose much by updating the game. The first eight episodes have a subplot of Giant Armadillo and Giant Pangolin trying to bring Kyururu to their client. When they finally accomplish this, it turns out their client is Domesticated Dog, who lived in the park when there were humans and has been eagerly awaiting their return à la that dog from Futurama.
Kyururu plays with Dog for a while, but Caracal acts like a cunt and they split up right as a Beast arrives. Kyururu goes to warn Serval and Caracal, but of course the Beast attacks her.
Dog tries to protect her, but gets the shit beaten out of her. Serval and Caracal show up and fend off the Beast, Caracal tells Dog that she isn't capable, Dog decides to wait for the original humans since Kyukuru isn't one of them apparently, and they just fuck off
tl;dr a dumb story thread that existed only to make a superficial parallel with season one and to bully a cute dog.

The problem is that with this arc they've set up that losing means not only losing your Ignis but also your data. So the first time any protag loses it's their final appearance for the season.
