I guess it's meaning it's of lost innocence, possibly referred to the story itself.
HF is also the route where all the dirt about the grail war, the magi families, the past war, Sakura's past, etc. gets dragged out in the open.
So yeah, good luck going after Rin or Saber when Sakura is a PTSD rape victim totally devoted to Shirou and keeping it all locked in.
Saving Shinji doesn't sound that awesome anymore does it ?
Also how easily Shirou's ideals crumble when he has actually to sacrifice something he cares about, because while he gives no shit about his own life and throws it away with no care, Sakura's life is another matter now.
