The main problem with dubs I have is not the bad voice acting, it’s the mixing. A lot of the time it sounds like it was just dropped on top with Sony Vegas and doesn’t clash well with the environment noise.

Dandy dub ruins half of the jokes becouse, even the very first joke in the show is ruined.

Dandy really? They fucked up even the first joke where Honey calls Dandy ujimushi (maggot), she plays dumb bimbo at work but she is actually smart as shown later in the show. In the dub she calls him asteroid belt which makes her sound like a dumb blonde while she was actually sneaking in a very fitting insult towards Dandy in the original.

older dubs are nicer cause even though the actors didn't know how to act they spoke like normal people most of the time. Now you have people who don't know how to act and speak how they think japanese people speak.

There's a few more that are nice like GitS SAC and Baccano. But I think the main reason I hate dubs is because the female MC's always sound like they are voiced by literally the same woman doing this crazy hammed up voice. Obviously voice acting should be a little hammed up, but these girls are all so obviously 32+ year old women pretending to be 14-15 and it sounds like total shit. They have this weird bouncy vocal pattern that sounds completely unnatural. It's funny you mentioned FMA because Winry is the exact dub voice I'm talking about. Every single fucking girl sounds just like her, with varying degrees of over-the-top.

Yu Yu Hakusho, Mob Psycho 100 (at least Reigen), Death Note, Devilman. that's all I can think of.

If your reasoning for why a dub sucks is because a single character doesn't call another character a worm, then you got some very picky opinions my dude

Because you're fucking elitist degenerate. Majority of dubs coming out, especially in recent years, are more than good. It will be hard to find bad subs.

The only valid criticism of dubs is that they often blur out background noise. That sucks, at the same time it's not as bad as reading fucking text on bottom of the screen and missing visual details instead.

It's only an american problem. Don't know why, maybe they suck in general and are unwillingly to hire talented people for nepotism and what not.

That's because american (USA) culture (also for political reasons) is too incompatible with the medium. Something that is fictionally believable in the rest of the world it might be considered edgy there.
Everytime i tried english dubs it seemed forced to me and i couldn't take out the picture of closed-minded people trying to earn a living by voicing silly cartoons instead of being able to enjoy the characters with uncompromised acting.

I used to only watch dubs. At some point I did a complete 180 and now only watch subs. I'm not sure if a particular anime caused the change but I suspect it's because I started feeling weird attaching western voices to anime while eastern voices felt like they fit better.
