I was thinking about the translator's note in the dj (Doug saying Kirill 'lost' weight) I wonder if it could've been a T&B joke reference because Barnaby asks Kotetsu if he has 'gained' some weight instead and word of god says that he can calculate the difference even when Kotetsu is wearing a different suit. I think translating it as frail and adding a note at the end instead was a good idea since it might not have been a reference as well. It was very nicely done.

I really liked the poor guy; he just wanted to change and went about it the wrong way but still managed to stop before doing something wrong.
The fact that he looks like Doug just cements that Kirill subconsciously has a type of guy that he finds attractive, the staff played a similar joke before in a T&B short too so they definitely knew how that scene would appear to us, they are so sly; I love them.

I’ll try to compile drama translations for a future thread (definitely won’t be able to now) but here are the summaries:
BD #1
Kirill continues to misunderstand Kay’s feelings and tries to figure out how to turn her down (Doug isn’t much help). Preoccupied with this, Kirill crashes into a man that happens to be Derick on his way to work in the morning. We learn that a kind, old man (implied to be Grandpa Dan) fed Derrick from time to time. Kirill and Derrick part without getting each other’s names. Kirill gets into work and turns down a cake from Kay, who we learn actually has no feeings for Kirill, she just thought he liked sweets. Kirill runs away crying.
BD #2
After the prom they held for Max, everyone gets super fucking drunk. Deana wakes up in bed with Derick and has no memory of the previous night. She tried to piece together the events of the previous night without admitting to anyone at Seven-O that she doesn’t remember. While drunk they played “Deana-sama’s game” and due to her orders, Kirill got his hair turned into an afro, Doug shaved his eyebrows, and Apple and Travis kissed. Eventually they confront Derick, and it turns out that Deana said she’d become his business partner, and said they should add pole dancing. She left with Derick to teach him how to dance and they passed out immediately.
Character song track:
Doug and Kirill are at a stakeout and have five mins before their operation commences. Nervous, Kirill tried to propose some games to Dougin an effort to relax but Doug turns them down. Doug starts cracking “kusuri no jikan da” (“time for your medicine”) jokes and Kirill is very confused until he finally realizes what’s happening and starts making his own, and without realizing it he’s calmed down and the 5 mins is nearly up. Doug ends the track by saying “matsuri no jikan da” (“time to party”).

I'm going to try and stay optimistic. Anime Japan might bring some good news if we get lucky.
The only downside of getting such fun drama cds is that we can be sure we won't get this as an animated episode because it already exists as a drama cd; makes me feel so happy but also torn at the loss of not seeing this happen in the anime.
