I think it would actually all depend on how much he features going forward. Accel wasn't that heavily featured in NT and only really featured in a couple of big battles. If he is used more now though it's more likely we'll see the wings more rather than less.

Sadly the situation we have now is prolably the best one, since sometimes the characters are doing exposition and if you want to know more about that magic spell you just saw, you'd have to google it or ask. I find this better than listening to a narator explaining what that magic spell was were it originated from and its myths.

Didn't you read NT9? The only thing that made him kill himself is Omega world. No matter what the universe throws at him, Touma will continue pushing the gas and live on.

At the same time, a lot of the Between the Lines segments in NT are inevitably going to get cut out because they're pure narration. And it's not just the Between the Lines. Character-related narration that allows for a flow in their actions and words will get cut out like they have.
It doesn't need to be the entirety of the narration from the novels or even elaboration of spells, but I think certain events will have a lot of impact if a key character plays the role of the narrator and uses Kamachi's own narration, like Will-tan in NT9. Especially the prior mentioned character-relevant narration.
