Slow translations since I think the manga is monthly. Anime is getting a second season so it's not dead by any means.

Nothing killed the hype. Takagi-san is one of the best mangas out there really. It's full of such love and sweetness I can't contain myself reading it.

It's cute little stories. In real life when you meet up with friends you don't always progress but you have fun with each other right? You and your friends have fun new adventures every day. Don't you remember your youth?
It's not just those 3 though there are a few other similar mangas that are also nice and cute.
I think they can all be enjoyed in their own right.

Its not a hype manga in the first place. You dont get excited run around and scream after reading a takagi chapter, you smile and feel warm and fuzzy. Its not something I particularly need to discuss with anons so I only pop in occasionally.
Do you do new and unique things every time you visit your friends or are you largely spinning your wheels and shooting the shit? Takagi is like that, its just a daily slice of life manga akin to Yotsuba. I never read Yotsuba expecting character development either or anything but cute things.
