How does Yea Forums feel about Nise Koi?

I haven't watched the anime but loved the manga, enjoyed every single second of it, obviously it's not a good romance-story but it's funny and comfy.

The ending was garbage. Not because Chitoge won, but because literally no story ever takes the time to properly resolve a love triangle or similar situation in a way that's emotionally satisfying for all characters. Jerking a few tears out of your readers right near the end with a rejection does not make for a satisfying resolution - it gives us a climax to an arc with no falling action. There's just too much unresolved to be satisfied.

It's better than Kaguya, 5Toubun, and Bokuben combined/

I'm not disagreeing but literally every discussion about romcoms or even romances anywhere can't go without some stupid faggot mentioning Nisekoi as the standard for subpar story. I'm convinced these people don't actually read anything. I'll gladly take Nisekoi over Domekano or anything from Seo Kouji. Or some generic edgy crap or by the book isekai series.

Nisekoi is the standard for bland subpar story. Sasuga Kei shit and Seoshit are trainwrecks, but whoever read them pretty much expects to be angry at the end.
Nisekoi feels worse because it was a betrayal. Before Nisekoi, Double Arts was up there with Mx0 as the most posted in 'Fuck nips for axing this manga' threads. We legit thought it was going to be good given the oneshot. Nobody expected it was going to shit the bed so early.

Ruri is THE BEST

Ruri and Shuu were legitimately my favourite characters, even when the story started going down the harem-path (which was a mistake, the basic love-triangle thing was great, the harem not so much) Ruri and Shuu didn't take part in that, and made the story really fun to read, a big reason why I'm afraid of watching the anime is because their interactions, or the way they're drawn in some panels might be completely ignored in the anime. Not that I know because I won't watch it but still.

early chapters are quite good and funny tho

I honestly thought most of it was funny, I couldn't have made it through the cursed limbo of ch.60-ch.180 otherwise.
I was satisfied with the ending mainly because it took so long, and I liked Chitoge the most out of the girls anyways, I just wish they started their actual relationship earlier (like maybe ch 125 or so) and then had the other half focus on them being in the relationship, dealing with issues etc.
