Last time, Kanade pretty much passed out as soon as she arrived at her host family's house as she hadn't slept at all on the flight over. She tried talking to Andrea but the language barrier and Andrea's own frosty attitude made it tough. Thankfully for Kanade she managed to meet another Japanese person in Maho Yorimoto, another participant at the YAGP preliminaries. From there she enjoyed a morning lesson taught by Garrel but the realities of the language barrier and her need to overcome it hit her hard during the next class.
Because they literally don't understand each other, lol. I like how both of them revert to their mother tongue when angry, and how their hosts speak to them in different languages.

If she gets a long term scholarship I think there's a chance of her getting a fill in corps de ballet role as well at some point.

Well yeah that's what I was saying. If this was ever adapted I honestly have no clue how this arc would be done since the characters speaking their respective languages is actually fairly important to the overall theme of the arc and lord knows some seiyuu trying to speak French and Spanish would probably be a mess.
