Yo am i that stupid that i didnt get that plot twist in the end? When angel said that otonashis heart is in her i was thinking like in what way, only to watch a video later and find out about it
anyway, what did Yea Forums think of the show?

Not going to participate in this thread because I know it's going to have contrarian neckbeards shitting on Angel Beats.
I dont care about others, i liked it
You don't have to be a contrarian to see that Angel Beats is shit.
It pretty much says that organ donation is a waste as she died after getting his heart anyway. Also that it makes no sense since she had been in the afterlife long before Otonashi showed up.
I love Angel Beats, but I think that the ending is stupid. Seeing as how Otonoshi died before Angel, he couldn't have given her his heart unless he was just floating around in limbo for years. While it's a fantasy situation and that could have happened, it's not a good enough explanation in my book. Even with that downside, I love it and I cry evertim when Yui disappears.
>I was too low IQ to understand the show
I honestly don't get how people didn't cringe when watching the 'comedy' parts. Unless everyone here is a huge cat eared weeaboo
It's schlock, possibly unintentionally.
>Caring about spoilers
>For a show that aired nine years ago

Are you new to anime and Yea Forums?
We were back when it aired
It came out 9 years ago. This user () is correct.

I think my biggest complaint with the show was how disjointed it felt - it didn't really have a cohesive story.
It was way too short and the ending was disappointing to say the least.
I still liked it a lot, though.
It needed to be 24ep at least.
Really liked the prequel manga though
Also vn fucking when?
I know the ending was rushed but it was one of the few shows that actually made me laugh and that i really enjoyed so at the end it's like i didn't care that much about the rushed ending and all. Fuck what everybody else thinks.
They are literally in a time limbo dimension, real world years doesnt matter there. The guys are decades in that world but people from modern day nipland keep appearing at diffferent points
It's retarded for people who died after someone to show up years after someone else had died. Nothing indicates that the characters are from different years let alone decades.
>It's retarded for people who died after someone to show up years after someone else had died.
How?
What does "show up" even mean in this setting? Hint: it probably in truth means something different from what you think it must mean. Don't be angry angry at something just because it happened in a manner that you could not immediately comprehend.
The flying chair scene is still funny

Still makes me said
>It's retarded for people who died after someone to show up years after someone else had died.
They are dead, the timeline of the living world doesnt really matters
Also Shiina was from feudal japan an appeared in this modern school setting anyway and she has been there for at least 100 years
Yurippe took years to make the whole team, hell at the end of the prequel manga they already been there for many years and that manga just begins when hinata appears in that place and yuri tells him that she has been there for years already
Do their bodies remain the same as they were right before they died? Cause everyone in limbo was high school aged, so was that how old they were when they died, or did some get younger after dying their 30s or something? It's been a few years since I've seen the show.
Nothing implied that any of them died at an age beyond high school, aside from the ones who we don't know the circumstances of their deaths at all.
What did Yuripe's parents do in their previous life to have first the four youngest brutally killed, and then the oldest (supposedly) commit suicide?
kanade is best girl fuck off
she said she didnt an hero, or maybe she did and im stupid
So even after getting Otonoshi's heart, angel died really young. Thinking of that actually make it really sad.
In the manga she died in a car accident at a bus stop.
That's just as bad.
The only thing I remember is the soundtrack being good. I guess being only forgettable puts it above Charlotte.
Charlotte was really but i mean really really bad, Angel Beats is a masterpiece compared to it.
