God, I hate this faggot
Not gonna lie, I don't think there's anyone worse than him in the series.
>Bandai
>Gozu
>Seiko
>Koichi
All of them are literal whos, so no one cares about them. You might not wish that were the case, but it's true.
Why's that?
based
Not as based as our boy JUZO though
>our boy JUZO
I'll give him this, I don't think there was anybody who could remotely control him.
Reminder that it doesn't matter in the end because it's all fiction.

Reminder tha tsumugi was lying
I love how pointless and irrelevant her death was
He means that, at least according to danganronpa V3, the games werent real, the deaths? Yes, but the world building? The remnants of despair bringing the world to ruin? All the shit stablished in all games previous to V3? NOPE! None of that ever happened! all the characters from previous games were greedy idiots who erased their memories with bullshittech to become the ultimates, because they wanted to enter a series of reality shows to become famous or die trying...
...or are they?...
And for some reason i find that more satisfying than fucking MGS2.
No, they started off as games and anime like they are in our world, but the fans loved it so much that they turned it into a live-action gladiator game.
We can agree that Juzo was at fault for destroying the world right?
Wasn't the steering committee going to find a different test subject for the Kamakura project if Hinata didn't accept?
Based and Juzopilled
I'm still so happy that Juzo and Munakata got together in the end and are having a happy wonderful relationship
>It's been almost 3 years since this
I want to go back and watch this again with Yea Forums
I think he's more referring to the whole "I know it's this Junko bitch but imma keep my mouth shut so Munukatana doesn't find out about my gay crush."
Reminder Danganronpa 3 would've been miles better if they just made Chisa the full mastermind instead of "The man behind the man behind the man"
Then yeah he fucked up big time.
As well as Mitarai for making the video and Komaeda for not just shooting Junko right away.
>It's been almost 3 years and we still don't know why
Would she still be the one who dies first?
"Die" first and then re-appear at the end and have Class 77 save her successfully as a call back to when they were unsuccessful the first time
I still dont even get why he did what he did.
Chisa putting pressure on Munakata and becoming more radicalised pressured Tengan and forced him to force Ryouta to use his ayy lmao hope video. Also Chisa gave Tengan the suicide video.
Future arc had some good moments
Like what?
>only new character with any ounce of thought put into their personality gets the most pointless death in the series
sums up dr3 nicely
/Ourboy/ Juzo sacrificing, Seiko and Tengan Death
I can't think of any worse than him.
>Seiko
I liked her even if the part where she downed a whole bottle of pills like fucking Popeye and turned into the she hulk was a bit ridiculous.
>any ounce of thought put into their personality
>why won't this diabetic girl eat my incredibly sugary sweets? Wtf I hate her!
Are you retarded?
Izuru is a close second for just fucking standing around almost every time he appeared onscreen.
if seiko can transform a dog into a kaiju and cure anything that isn't death then she can find a way to eat some candy, no wonder ruruka was pissed
It's kinda sad to think that the OPs were the highlights of the anime.
this high level intelligence on display right here
>orchestrates an entire death game just to take a hope video from a nerd
He was the worst mastermind in the series.
fug the anime :) also V3 > 2 > 1
OPs and EDs were fucking great
youtube.com
He was pretty intimidating in DR2 so I thought he was going to do some fucked up shit in 3 like murder the council or kill Nanami. Instead he just stands around doing nothing and saying tsumaranai every few minutes.
At least he's the first anime character to say the word meme on japanese tv. Probably.
>ywn be THIS based
>those violins in the climax of Dead or Lie
He stepped on Junko once.
but junko though
I loved the retarded valley girl accent Junko had in the dub
This just proves that anybody that hates V3 legit doesn't understand the plot
>saying tsumaranai every few minutes.
He was right.
Why's 1 the worst?
Reverse order.
There's nothing particularly wrong with it, just has the least compelling case writing and core plot. 2 has the best mysteries, v3 is the best game.
Those are fair criticisms, but on the other hand, the other games have worse atmosphere, bigger plotholes and the killing game itself became progressively worse with how inorganic some of the motives were
1 does have the best atmosphere, it's true. I still dig v3's atmosphere, I like how it's a hybrid of the other two. Plot holes don't tend to bother me but that's just me. I like the motivations in 2 the best actually, and i'd argue that v3's chars are purposefully exaggerated in a way that's justified by the ending.
would never knock anyone's personal preferences though, they're all good to great games imo.
>DR1: best setting, worst cases
>SDR2: best chapter, worst cast
>DRV3: best cast, worst plotline until the ending
V3>1>2, but I still enjoyed them all.
What has the worst setting?
>Danganronpa 3
>Cross Ange
>Mayoiga
>King's Game
These were fun rides Yea Forums! Hope the future has more tanoshi in stock. only reason I haven't an hero yet
Not him but that's unquestionably V3. 1 had the claustrophobic halls of Hope's Peak. 2 gave us the inverse with the expansive island and various themes.
V3 doesn't really have anything like that. And the jail/prison setting doesn't go anywhere.
DR1 has the worst cast
>DR2
>worst cast
you wot?
How so?
He was, they should've just gone all the way and made Chisa the mastermind. Hell Kyouko said that the game was specifically designed for Munakata to despair (I know this turns out to be wrong but as a super Detective she shouldn't be getting things wrong, its not like her). Plus Chisa would've been great, its a shame we never got to see her as a proper Remnant, I thought her being a secret 13th Remnant of Despair was interesting and could've opened at lot of different insights as she was an adult. But alas, don't let Kishi direct.
>backstabbing thot gets the most brutal and bloodiest death
This pleases my justice boner.
SDR2, wasn't a fan of the bright tropical setting but I appreciate the game for trying something drastically different.
They had some cool moments but overall they were most annoying cast of the three games. Arguably had the best FTEs, but as soon as those were done they returned to being grating and I got more and more tired of them as the story unfolded. I'd rather they be more upfront with their good traits in the story proper than have them locked behind events that a player might not even bother checking out.
Does anybody even find her body?
Ruruka was shafted so hard because they didn't know how to make Seiko more gray than she was.
What was grey about her?
Nothing, and that's the problem. Black and white is okay if you just focus on one side but if you're trying to make both sides sympathetic then grayness should be added.
I love my gorgeous wife!
I think Ruruka was pretty gray if you're able to read between the lines, but I absolutely agree that they did an incredibly poor job of making things look like the mutually destructive relationship due to poor communication and understanding that it was clearly intended to be. Instead one comes out looking like a heartless bully and the other comes out looking like an innocent puppy who could never do any wrong.
No one found any of the bodies
Not the same user but too many of the characters are similar levels of mundane.
If you were to take any two characters from SDR2 or V3 and lock them in a empty room together for 10 minutes, for the most part there's immediate and obvious ways of making that situation interesting. But if you were to take, say, Sayaka and Chihiro? Leon and Asahina? Kyoko and basically anyone? Then you'll basically have to start making stuff up in order to keep their interaction entertaining.
Not saying that character subtleties are a bad thing but very little in Danganronpa comes close to subtle.
NOOOO CHIAKI
Reminder Munakata got cucked
The only Danganronpa character worth anything
Severe lack of our eternal goddess of despair
>The final antagonist of the Hope’s Peak saga was this beta faggot.
Can’t say I saw this coming but that doesn’t mean it was a good thing.
You're right outside of V3 since V3 has the best plotline but a very mixed cast.
Based and Mitaraipilled.
Yea Forums is in denial that he's objectively the best written character in this shit hole of a franchise because he reminds them too much of themselves.
Should I bother with V3?
The only god tier character in DR2 was Komaeda to be honest. I also liked Gundam though.
Yes it's the best game.
Yes for Miu
Great taste
You're a fucking moron, the hope's peak games and V3 are in separate continuities and even if they weren't so what? Danganronpa isn't fucking real to begin with.
Thanks fellow Miufag
You should. The only people who hate V3 are brainlets.
Never forgetti
That ain't Toko, though. She's best girl.
As someone who swore off the series after DR3 but gave V3 a fair shake two years later because the game went on sale, absolutely.
This. v3 is the pleb filter.
hell yeah. DR1: Toko. DR2: Mikan. DR3: Tsumugi
It also makes her and her group's story completely pointless filler. The only thing relevant was Seiko's deus ex machina drug.
>carrying her cub son around
This shouldn't move me but it does.
What I wanna know is how Kodaka, who wrote the absolute shitfest that is DR3, turned around and pulled DRV3 out of fucking nowhere. Was it like what happened with Zero Time Dilemma, where Uchikoshi had too much clout and tried to cram in all the concepts he wanted to explore without actually exploring them due to rushed production that forced him to only write one third of the game? Because I just can't believe Kodaka could be so incompetent seeing as he then went on to write the final chapter of DRV3.
Kodaka didn't write DR3
Kodaka also has very likely read Umineko and more or less ripped the V3 ending from it
God dammit I've been spoiled on Umineko now.
No idea, but trying to cram all the answers to the open ended mysteries of SDR2 into a 13 episode story was a mistake.
Sure
You got spoiled of a 10 minutes long scene in a 120+ hours long visual novel that is pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things and isn't 100% the same thing as V3
Umineko has so many twists and turns that even people who have been heavily spoiled can still be surprised since you need the full picture to understand what was going on, and without it a couple spoilers don't ruin the experience at all
Funny thing is both V3 and Umineko lost all their popularity thanks to retards not understanding the scene
You should read Umineko anyway
Yeah
why not?
Also case 4 is also best case in the game
I'm waiting to finish Higurashi before I start on Umineko. But I definitely will in future.
