mc isn't going to be magically gay just because his best friend is dunno what you expected.
Knowing this is a manga gaybro has three choices:
>an hero
>become a priest and be single forever
>try to bury the gay feelings by marrying a woman and having kids
Yeah, there's 0% of Touma and Taichi happening. Feels like the author was specifically calling out fujoshi with that whole conversation Futaba overheard.
Wait wtf that's it? It felt so short
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA I MADE IT IN TIME FOR THE THREAD
And now you have to wait another month to find out anything conclusive
That part felt like a personal attack
Also
>says I love you to Futaba instead immediately after
It hurts
No fucking shit we’re getting the straight end. Did you actually deluded yourself into thinking the gay shit would happen?
Oh fuck, I wonder what will happen to Touma. I hope he tries to forget Taichi now that he confessed and obviously got rejected.
Hope is a dangerous thing
yes
Touma's new superior mega qt bf when
People actually thought we'd get a fag end? Lmao.
>bury the gay feelings by marrying a woman and having kids
Cursed ending.
Ao No Flag? More like Ao No I can't
How did you believe this was going to have a gay end? Taichi is in love with Futaba and likes women, and the first to know this is Touma. If you want a gay end lets just pray Mentaiko makes a doujin. Because I don't want that crazy psycho that makes Gintama doujinshi to touch this at all.
>he still hasn't finished up with Itai Itai after 10,000 years
>fujo being cancer
Damn this manga is based
Bold move of the author to put what all the readers are thinking in the mouths of the bitchy gossip girls.
/y/ BTFO!!!
And he made it sound really sick but realistic, how random people talk about other people lives like they have all the right to do it. I wonder what Tumblr is saying about this.
I like Taichi's attitude, is the most realistic way of reacting. It happened to me too, and it took five years to regain the basic contact with my friend. Nowadays is getting better. But at that moment it was really uncomfortable.
>put what all the readers are thinking in the mouths of the bitchy gossip girls
No. Taichi is for Futaba. No forced gay thank you very much.
>Shingo might have also hit Touma
I don't believe that. No way in hell. Shingo is smart, he already knew Touma was gay.
>the author inserting the fanbase this hard
You can smell the butthurt.
Not too familiar with this manga or mangaka anyone who says they're "calling out" out is up their own ass
Yeah, I've had similar thoughts and there's been people saying basically the same thing on here and other places on the internet.
tumblr's mostly just sad about the flashback and the cliffhanger.
>I wonder what Tumblr is saying about this.
how about you go find out and stay there this time
With the Japanese culture of public shaming and all, Touma is probably gonna move out to a place where nobody knows him.
based nips and their views. they have to he protected from the western devils.
Seems pretty explicit.
He mostly does original books, not doujinshi.
Futaba's reaction is kinda annoying but it just goes so according to her personality. I just hope she shows some sympathy for Touma.
Based Masumi being based.
>fags getting sympathy
????
Yeah but he has shown some sense of humor with his Naturo's homages in Priapus. I want him to do a DJ because he nails the body type good. He would know how much muscle give to Touma and Taichi without turning them into roided guys or anorexic twinks.
>Futaba's reaction is kinda annoying
What? She hasn't done anything but try to talk to Taichi about it. What is she supposed to do that wouldn't be "annoying"
>I just hope she shows some sympathy for Touma
Of course she will.
>We're going to get the straight ending, guys
As it should be.
When will Itachi rape the brat out of Mami? She's clearly a repressed dyke but doesn't seem to know it.
Gosh this manga is pure suffering. I still believe that same-sex ending will happen, though.
I read some random chapters of this just to see why everyone calls it homo suffering. Holy shit Masumi is high level evil stacy, good thing she's gay for Futaba I guess since she'd probably have bullied her into sudoku otherwise.
>I still believe that same-sex ending will happen, though.
Oh boy.
She's the boss of this gym, I wish she had more screentime.
You think even be an epilogue panel with some random future partner is not happening?
She's hot as fuck, I'd love to convert her.
Kudos to you, user. I can't say I believe it per se but hope dies last.
>I don't want that crazy psycho that makes Gintama doujinshi
Harada?
The author seems to like her but goddamn I want her to get NTR'd somehow. If only she was a straight shoujo harem character like your average stacy.
>implying the reverse won't happen
she'd make you the little girl you always wished to be
I can see that happening, but there's no way Touma x Taichi and Masumi x Futaba is going to happen. This isn't me being mean, just being realistic since both Taichi and Futaba are straight.
should I finish that for you?
The girl she loves is in love with a dating a boy. How could she possibly get NTR'd more?
She already fucked over best girl Mami so I need the reverse of this
Read chapter 33.5. The possibility is real. It's just that it'll literally take 2 years to follow through.
I thought she ended up supporting it.
I feel like there's no way a gay ending is happening after
Sure but her love interest is taken. How could she be NTR'd?
Indeed.
Okay, keep holding onto hope. When you get BTFO for good, don't go shitting up threads with bitter posts.
>real
Taichi is straight. He is just uncomfortable with the idea of his bro wanting to bone him. You would be in the same place if your best friend comes out to you saying you are the king of his wet dreams.
if there is any dj with the sleepy friend let me know; I'm almost jerking off to this hot and filthy bitch.
I hate when authors do that. Aswering to the fans on the pages of manga is fucking cancer
Taichi is shit anyway. Touma not ending up without him is a good thing.
She looks like a female Shingo
Her lips and that disgusted face turn me on.
>brainlets actually deluding thenselves into thinking people expected a gay (MC) end so they can feel superior
Being less than 100.0000% sure =/= thinking it is going to happen. In a world where the Evangelion ending can happen you can't say gay ending is less impossible than the whole cast being killed in a plane crash for example
Is not, the cancer is when author goes on Twitter and pretend to give a moral speech. His work is the way he expresses, so it makes sense he makes statements through this.
the gossip girls are right
*more impossible
>Read chapter 33.5
Just did. What about it that makes you think it's possible when it's three pages of them in the beach?
>sleepy friend and Mami getting raped by Touma and Taichi while they kiss each other and kuze watch from afar with tears in her eyes
Make it happen.
I want to self-insert myself into the story as a confident homo and become Touma's knight in rainbow armour
Is it true that more readers ship MC with Touma than Futaba? Both are good taste.
The author is calling out fujos who won't hesitate to hurt Futaba for the sake of their ship. Basically the kind of annoying fujos who often fetishizes RL gays as a part of their perverted fantasies.
>Who cares what Taichi wants and that he doesn't like dick?
>Poor Touma should get what he wants because Touma!
>Futaba hasn't suffered even though everything in her life is suffering outside if her boyfriend and her sparse amount of friends!
>"Relationships between boys and girls are so normal its boring"
It's not straight relationships being like this, it's Futaba and Taichi together being so fucking boring I start falling asleep whenever they are talking to each other. Seriously, we finally get a confession and Touma and Taichi cliffhanger just to retcon that and spend the whole next chapter on those two again and "tear jerking for Futaba and her feelings" again, even though it is Touma everyone is concerned right now
I'd root for you, user!
This. Author is based and fujos are disgusting fat bitches. Begone fujos that want the gay ending.
>retcon
>who often fetishizes RL gays as a part of their perverted fantasies.
>fetishizes RL gays
>perverted fantasies
Lurk more or go back to your flower-shop AU tumblr.
You sound like the annoying bitches shit talking Futaba.
You are in love with Tumblr, you can't stop replaying any post that mentions it.
I still think that the story should not be influenced by irl retards. I want to read the manga, not a social commentary to some Twitter autists. Answering the fans on the pages of your work is a first step to eventual adding of fanservice
Have you been to threads for any straight romance manga ever?
...
Social media is part of the real world, you like it or not, so is not like he is paying special attention to that group.
>to any post that mentions it.
Sasuga narcissists' inability to read
Where do you think you are?
You can see many instances where fujos treat the girlfriend like some kind of antagonist in their fanfictions, but when it's done to "real people" (in this case Futaba), it's actually really cruel.
No. Taichi is shit. Touma deserves better.
I mean, the word might be not right, but they are definitely not talking to each other for 5+ chapters
Maybe. I don't like Futaba, but I can tolerate her. However, when it's time to get at least some kind of mid-resolution to the plot that has been around for so long and the character who is going through so much shit right now and it just gets cut and we go back to her, of course I am annoyed
Certainly not in tumblr, even though your efforts to make it look like we are keep increasing.
But that doesn't even represent the readers. Most people reading this aren't fujos. That scene was shut because the author is trying to make us feel bad for the girl who has a boyfriend who loves her. Poor baby girl.
That's not what user was about.
You are very deeply confused.
From what I've seen there are more fujos shitting on Taichi than Futaba but then again I don't know what nip twitter is saying.
And when does that actually happen? In Japan? Where the gay guy is actually the one facing more risks, rejection, mockery? Sure, the straight girl has it so bad.
Once again, Kuze remains a meek girl who's nothing more than a victim. No evolution. She's just here for the readers to feel sad about her.
Taichi is in shock dealing with some tough shit. So he's not going to say much about it for a bit, not even to his girlfriend. Touma said what he needed to say and is still suspended from school, so we're not going to get him at school. Expecting some kind of resolution right now is unreasonable.
You don't have to be a fujo to shit on Taichi. Do you even know what a fujo is?
Most of the readership isn't fujo
Yes, why even ask the question?
Yet Masumi came and basically told them to fuck off. That scene is not for Taichi and Futaba but rather Masumi and Futaba.
This. Based beyond belief, you just wrote what I thought. I don't understand why am I supposed to feel for her oh so much instead of someone like Touma, who was supposed to have this chapter
Not him but what the fuck kind of comeback is that? The whole argument was about fujos do not what non fujos do.
Because you sound like you don't.
Taichi is so immature he's starting to get annoying
You can sympathize with both of them you know.
No he doesn't, you just imagine things.
Considering how positively Kaito has portrayed both Touma and Masumi in this series so far, I think it's safe to say the "calling out" wasn't supposed to be an attack for people rooting for Touma, but for people who have no regards to Taichi's feelings, have no problem bullying Futaba, and don't care that this type of bullshit hurts Touma too: they're literally just gossiping to relieve their boredom instead of genuinely caring about Touma or his situation. I don't think it was supposed to be a call out to readers, nor a "poor Futaba" situation since even Masumi got annoyed at her for not saying anything about it. It wasn't just her that's being hurt by it, but both Taichi and Touma too. I'm sure no one genuinely thinks that if Taichi just broke up with Futaba and got together with Touma that everything would work out fine and they'd be happy: it's not that simple and that's essentially what was being discussed. There's definitely a way for everyone to be happy in the end, but ignoring the actual problem and just going "it's more interesting if we get the gay end" is not it.
Yes, but both the girls in the chapter and the "begone fujo" posts here have been pitting them against each other
i want know toumas brother reaction, i think he knew it
Not him but I'm just salty we didn't get a Touma chapter after that cliffhanger and a month of wait. Yeah im mad
She is the one painted as victim in this chapter
Notice how the first thing after Touma's public confession we hear is not some homophobic words against him, which is more realistic(the moment of confession itself doesn't count), but people "supporting" him in order to make us feel for Futaba. The fact that in this whole situation she's the one who gets the suffering first is meh for me. When a character comes out, you need to focus on him, not the girlfriend of the crush of the guy who came out
I'm pretty sure it has zero to do with western anti-fujo or shipping arguments and the background characters were just casually gossiping based on stereotypes as usual. How was that scene any different from any of the earlier gossip scenes about Futaba or Touma? The thread is just full of people with goggles on.
I have no idea how "begone fujo" fags are even here
The problem isn't Kuze dating Taichi, that's fine (she can have him). The problem is the author trying to make it seems like SHE's the one suffering as if that situation would even happen.
Also that chapter was hardly a fujo call-out. Fujoshis' behaviour hurts gays not straight people. They fetishise them, dehumanise them, they're uncomfortable to be around. But somehow, the author wants us to think that straight people are the one suffering because gays exist. Is this why Touma said sorry? Is the message "gay people make straight couples suffer and should feel sorry about it"?
Oh no, her boyfriend loves her, her friends support her, poor girl.
Anyway all I care about it for Touma to move on and realise that his taste in men is shit. And also for Mami to have a good ending.
There were homophobic sentiments along the lines of "Yikes, what if he assaulted me?" in the previous chapter, but mainly from guys.
>When a character comes out, you need to focus on him
Why? Because that's what you want? I know waiting 1 month for nothing is shit but the manga has always been like this, if you have such a problem waiting then stop following and binge read later. Touma is not even back to school and it's not like he didn't have his share of focus and suffering before.
I hope the homos find happiness later on. Like the girl from Kuzu no Honkai who started dating her professor.
>When a character comes out, you need to focus on him, not the girlfriend of the crush of the guy who came out
Only sick people think like this. When a character comes out there are repercussions for all people involved, this is not a personal suffering where one suffering is better than other. And just a reminder Futaba used to be in love Touma, admires him, trusted him, and then feel in love with Taichi with whom started a relationship. Plus, she is a shy person who doesn't excels in anything, and you have people making assumptions about her and how she should behave in her own private life.
>homos
>finding happiness
Literally never.
Why should feel sorry for the girl who's boyfriend loves her and who's best friend loves her? Because the author said so? It was forced and not realistic. That's not how most Japanese highcschooler would act if they found out a guy was gay. It was the author forcing that shit in to paint Kuze as a victim. But even then, it' s just girls gossiping. Is she that much of a wimp? Why has she not evolved one bit after all this time? Why does she always have to be protected by others?
Kuze use to be cute. She used to be my second favourite character but now she's just annoying. Even Itachi is starting ro feel redundant. Better, better girls were introduced since then. Mami is far more enjoyable and so are her friends.
taihi dont like touma, he has envy of him, homo never is going to happen, fujos are dumb
I'm getting really tired of Futaba's sensitive cinnamon roll shtick. I want her to grow some backbone already and stop relying on her lesbian attack dog for every little thing
I wonder if he is even staying at home. His brother seemed a little bit tired of being in charge of him.
This, I really want to know how his family will react to all this, I'm scared his brother won't accept him.
>>says I love you to Futaba instead immediately after
>It hurts
That's sort of the point. It's implied it was motivated by what just happened with Touma, so it's either an unconscious "no homo/I'm taken" defensive move or an unconscious attempt to understand Touma's mindset by doing with his love interest the same thing Touma just did with him.
You are just mad things don't go as you want. Also, you listened to two fujos rooting for their pairing, not the general rumors around the school. You don't even know how the baseball teams has reacted to this.
I personally saw it as more of a way to highlight how difficult the situation is for all of them, how easy it is for outsiders to gossip and spout opinions like they're facts when in fact it just shows how little they know about the situation or the people they're talking about, and maybe for Futaba to eventually realize that she isn't the only one affected by this type of gossip and bad attitude. I think it's kind of an important point for Futaba also not try and break things off with Taichi simply because she feels quilty, because not only does it disregard Taichi's feelings, but also most likely Touma's too. It's not like Taichi will magically become attracted to Touma, and I don't think Touma himself would be happy if his confession ended up ruining Taichi's and Futaba's relationship because he cares for them both.
It's a shame this thread is such a mess because there's a lot in this chapter I would've wanted to discuss.
Holy shit user, get help.
based MC avoiding "the big gay" route. really interested how this 0lays out.
It would be interesting. For Taichi, what Touma said was alien to him to the point he couldn't recognize him. While for Touma it was an act of freedom. Taichi must be confused about it. About how "easy" was for Touma saying "I love you", while to him is hard. Even more if Taichi is questioning his own feelings for Futaba. Like, "what if I don't love her as much as Touma loves me?", is that bad? Does that mean I am not allowed to love her, or that I shouldn't date her? Does that makes me gay?".
What's the point of this manga again? Gays? We know they are not getting with someone they like at the end, suffering a bit and accpting the truth at best. Futabas and Taichi's relationship development? It's stale and boring. Taichi's growth? He's not growing at all, just keeps being immature. The growing up theme at all? It doesn't even have enough focus, if we count out the romance aspect of it
>What's the point of this manga again?
Endless suffering.
>You don't even know how the baseball teams has reacted to this.
And do you know why? Because the author is more focused on showing how poor girl is suffering than talking about how Touma being outed affected him and his entourage. That's the issue, shifting the focus on the girl who has a loving boyfriend and best friend because "please feel sad for her". How are we supposed to feel sad when we know Taichi loves and and isn't gonna leave her for Touma? It's forced, it doesn't move the story, it serves no purpose.
Is about unreciprocated love.
It's literally just the gays
I dont mind it
I don't like Kuze either and understand your disappointment but please remember that author will eventually move focus to Touma. We'll just have to wait a bit
>Is the message "gay people make straight couples suffer and should feel sorry about it"?
Yes user, that's exactly the message. After all it's Touma that assaulted Futaba with his own two hands this chapter because of his unchecked homo jealousy while the poor gossiping girls tried to help her.
And when we do get focus on Touma suffering because Taichi and Futaba are together just remember that the message is that gays should always suffer because that's what they deserve.
>It's not like Taichi will magically become attracted to Touma
Yes, it won't happen so why exactly should we feel sorry for Kuze when there's 0.01 change she'll lose her boyfriend. What actually struggles does she have when it comes to this? None, she's facing no risk as all. She'll still have her friends and boyfriend.
Masumi and Futaba's relationship hasn't progressed much, though. At least in this chapter we got
>"I knew who Touma likes, he told me himself"
>Panel pans to Futaba's surprised look
>Futaba will remember and question this
Pretty typical for a high school romance/friendship/SoL manga
>About how "easy" was for Touma saying "I love you", while to him is hard.
Huh? It's the opposite. Taichi has no problem saying he loves Kuze, Touma was the one for whom saying it was hard. He wouldn't even let others mention it before (chapter 5)
Based
Of course eventually he will, this just feels unfair and depreciating to Touma that she gets this first
He's talking about what Taichi thinks, hence the quotes around "easy".
Just fuck off already if you're not even going to attempt to understand what the chapter was about.
I guess you missed the whole school gossiping about him before he confessed to Taichi
She's an insecure girl and this isn't the first time she's overheard people shitting on her. You dismiss her feelings as unimportant for no reason just as the two stupid whores in the locker area.
You can feel a little bit sorry for her and REALLY sorry for Touma at the same time you know
>t. Homosexual
Ummm.... Any speculations on why Shingo hit Touma?
Wow, it's fucking nothing
This manga has pacing issues
Just imagine if they pull off a gay ending on us...
Taichi and Kuze had more chemistry before they started dating, that's the sad truth. It also felt like Kuze was growing before, but since she's been dating Taichi, she regressed
I hope the Japanese are shitting this manga for all the right reasons.
I agree with that user. Taichi's face when Touma confessed kinda said "fuck, he's for real" in the sense that he could see Touma had no doubts about his own feelings and maybe that made him question if he was able to say he loves Futaba with the same confidence.
He probably tried to separate them and got accidentally beat up instead because he's a clumsy weakling and/or pacifist (judging by the fact that he took an obvious beating in junior high from that guy who confessed to Mami), and it got distorted.
>The problem is the author trying to make it seems like SHE's the one suffering
but she is, it's an extremely uncomfortable situation for everyone involved
>Fujoshis' behaviour hurts gays not straight people
>fujos
>caring about 3d
>the author wants us to think that straight people are the one suffering because gays exist
okay buddy
No idea. Maybe for cucking Mami? Though OOC and I'd give 90% that he already knew. For not letting these feelings go and keeping worsening the situation?
Fucking severe ones
>it's like he was a complete stranger
>DON'T TALK ABOUT TOUMA
It hurts
Oh no! How could this straight guy with a girlfriend not want to go out with one of his closest male friends who suddenly confessed to him? This makes no sense you guys!
But why did Kensuke hit him? Did he think Touma was shitting on Mami by telling her he'd rather go gay than have her? Does he just hate gays or Ichinose?
It's just rumours. Notice how Mami looks then Shingo is mentioned. He probably tried to separate them
Honestly, everything is going pretty predictably right now, and the only real thing that intrigues me anymore is what part is Shingo playing in all this.
He sperged out because his EQ is at room temperature
It's better than him blowing it off, his overreactions at least show Touma is someone important to him.
I'm sorry, but focusing right now on Futaba rather than Touma feels like ignoring a huge multi-storey residential building arson in favour of a small trash bin burning because of a cigarette
Thats how they hook you, showing you the least interesting bits first so you'll anticipate the actual chapter later
Touma is literally sitting around at home right now.
Then Taichi is really dumb. Touma said he has always loved him ie it took him years to say "i love you". Doesn't sound easy at all.
That part was about how Touma being outed affected Kuze and how others see her relationship with Taichi. Doesn't make it any less forced or stupid.
For some reason I really want Touma to end up with Shingo
But she's going to be fine. I have no reason to feel sorry for her. She has it easy.
Come on, he's staying at home because the author wants him to. Because he needs to throw him out for a while for some dragging reason
Touma deserves better.
Honestly I'm not even mad about the futaba focus, I just feel like it could have been done better. It could have been Futaba being worried that Touma will be bullied when he comes back to school or that he'll grow distant from her and Taichi. If the author really wanted Futaba to overhear people gossiping, I think classmates suspecting that Taichi is just using Futaba as a beard and feeling sorry for her would've worked better than fujoshi bullshit.
May she turn out to be a fujo so she triggers you even more
It would be novel, then Mami could have two male friends who will treat her like a friend, instead of a girl to be won. But I don't think that's what's going to happen.
This thread just further proves that fujoshi are a mistake.
It's a sneak-peek of the future. A future where Futaba lies her head on top of Masumi's boobs. A future where Taichi shares a glass of shaved ice with Touma (there are two spoons in it). And they're all still friends with each other.
>fujos
>caring about 3d
I can tell you've never actually met one. Also fujo even ship real kpop guys
Futaba isnt 100% secure in her relationship with Taichi, having her be worried for herself rather than Touma is just part of that
This. It's boring. Kuze is boring. Hopefully Mami will save next chapter.
She.
The author is a woman.
>Taichi is really dumb
I don't remember being this annoyed with him during earlier chapters, but right now he is becoming insufferable because of absolute refusal to grow up and start caring about the feelings of others(Touma specifically) instead of whining about how inferior he is or how "weird" Touma is.
>I think classmates suspecting that Taichi is just using Futaba as a beard and feeling sorry for her would've worked better than fujoshi bullshit.
This would feel more realistic to me, but maybe gossip is different over there.
>I think it's kind of an important point for Futaba also not try and break things off with Taichi simply because she feels quilty, because not only does it disregard Taichi's feelings, but also most likely Touma's too.
Yeah, it's not like Touma confessed because he changed his mind and hopes Taichi will date him. He confessed because he was outed and he didn't really have much other choice.
>It's not like Taichi will magically become attracted to Touma
I don't think Taichi will end up with Touma, but I do wonder if he will question whether he has feelings for Touma.
He had a girlfriend. You think he could be bi? I'd like Touma to end up with that black haired dude from rbe baseball team (who got angry on his behalf after the car accident).
This was never confirmed, it's only a rumor.
*eyes rolling*.jpg
you're just confirming you're lost
Doubt it since she doesn't seem to care much about Touma's struggle (despite admiring him before). She's too focused on herself to be a fujo
But then we won't see Masumi saving the day by becoming a white knight for Kuze.
Fuck it, I'm on Shingo x Touma train now. I'll never lose hope
Both Kuze and Taichi have regressed as characters.
Why not? We have a lesbian and a homo we're just missing a bisexual to complete the rainbow trinity
He's the complete opposite of that, the uncaring is his put on facade. He's spent the last two chapters obsessing over Touma.
This. Hope Touma finds a hot, loving boyfriend soon.
Still hoping for the true ot3 ending, even if it takes 200 chapters I want them to meet up again, realise shit and enjoy the train fucking
>or how "weird" Touma is
He says Touma feels like a stranger, or (in a past chapter) that he's acting weird. I don't see him whining about Touma being weird.
Exactly how would you expect a (presumably) straight guy to react to his jock friend revealing that he has feelings for him?
I hope Touma can find someone better because I don't like both Taichi and Futaba
>Polygamy
It's for hack writers, who can't commit.
Taichi is hot and loving. He just likes midgets with tits.
Taichi is not shit, he's acting like how a perfectly normal teenager would.
This. Especially because Touma acted like a bro who's even supportive of Taichi and Futaba. It feels like everything about Touma ended up being fake, and suddenly he feels like a stranger.
Where are all the polygamy ends you speak of?
>inb4 Taichi starts blaming himself for not knowing his friend better on top of the guilt for getting him run over
Not saying that he's the worst character ever but he's definitely an average guy with a short temper and self esteem issues that makes him act like an asshole way too many times, Touma is leagues above him
Ao no straight
>but I do wonder if he will question whether he has feelings for Touma
I doubt it will go that far, but I think in this chapter already Taichi seemed like he was spending a lot of time questioning the concept of love in general. Even when he told Futaba he loves her, it felt like maybe a confirmation of something for himself to understand better. His reaction in general is also really heavy so I don't think he'll dismiss Touma entirely, especially considering his previous attitude of looking up to Touma and wondering what Touma sees in him. I think the flashback earlier also shows that the news probably hit him hard not only because of the obvious case of a friend having feelings for him, but because of how close he used to be with Touma and how important their relationship was and how he obviously felt very affected when Touma rejected him in a way, and when they eventually drifted apart.
>Feels like the author was specifically calling out fujoshi with that whole conversation Futaba overheard.
It's strange to feel so attacked by a page while feelings bad for the victim at the same time. I don't think I ever saw a manga page that explicitely portrayed fujoshis as bullies, that's a first for me.
I just hope the author isn't expecting me to reflect on my ways, because I won't. Not that I ever apply my whimsical tastes in shipping to real life anyways.
That's only if he doesn't kill himself because Taichi gave him the silent treatment after his confession.
In-universe and on a superficial level yeah.
But I started this prepared for him to be a cardboard average MC and was surprised.
You have to look beneath the surface of how he presents himself, what he and Touma have in conmon are their constant pretending.
Shuddup, I'm her husband, I know.
Well looks like Touma is resolved to never lie to himself again
>because Taichi gave him the silent treatment after his confession.
I get the impression from the panels on page 6 that Touma left right after his confession, so he didn't exactly give Taichi a lot of time to give a "silent treatment."
>Yeah, it's not like Touma confessed because he changed his mind and hopes Taichi will date him. He confessed because he was outed and he didn't really have much other choice.
I don't think any other choice would have been in character for him, but if he wanted to say it was all a lie/misunderstanding I'm pretty sure Taichi and their friends would believe it or at least pretend to believe it.
While I agree that Kuze is far from being the one who suffers the most in this situation, I don't see what's so wrong with potraying her suffering in this situation. While it was definitely ankward and forced to create fujoshi bullies for this express purpose, the point was to portray her guilt and that's fine. It would be stranger if she didn't feel any. Touma is her friend too. Nowhere does the author make a statement that she's the one suffering the most in this situation.
Well I would have left too if the person I just confessed to didn't say a single word back
In a setting that's not a harem, sure you would be justified saying that. Nobody really goes for a harem ending, and the ones that do are exceptions.
So when there is a fight they just suspend everybody for a week and it doesn't matter if they were attacking or defending or trying to separate the others?
>And also for Mami to have a good ending.
this is very important
Isn't it obvious? He probably just tried to stop them and/or defend Touma.
I don't care if it hurts the art. With the pacing like this this manga seriously needs to become weekly
Yeah this definetely shits on any possibility of a gay end
>implying he stood there waiting for a response while neither of them moved or made a sound, before finally giving up
inb4 the minute long still frame in the anime.
Anime fucking when?
I'm actually not so sure.
But damn, those gossiping girls in the locker room, I felt that conversation.
She could just walk away or walk up to the girls and embarass them just by being here. In the end this is nothing but a superficial, fun conversation between fujoshi. The real subject is the taste in archetypal relationships of those girls, not Futaba and Taichi themselves. Yet Futaba just stood there listening out of pure masochism.
Nah, Masumi's sperging was the awkward response. The gossipers weren't trying to hurt her or even interact with her, Futaba didn't need to do anything.
Seems like a pretty common thing to me, and not just in Japan.
>I'm actually not so sure
I don't believe in a gay end, but I do hope things are not as simple as
>Taichi=straight
>Touma=gay
Taichi's reaction did seem a little over the top. Well, not that I've ever been in that situation so I wouldn't know how that feels. But since the focus is on feelings "like his world is collapsing around him" more than simple, sheer disgust, I can't help but wonder.
Literally how? The only thing it shits on is that the issue at hand is as simple as these girls (who might be portrayals of the readers) gossiping make it out to be. In the end, this is not just a fluffy romance manga, and definitely not an yaoi.
Still doesn't mean a gay ending is completely out of the question, just that there is much more at play here other than just who ends up with who.
You can walk up to someone without sperging you know. Just passing them by, making eye contact, smiling, and leaving would have been hilarious.
But yeah Masumi was embarassing, as usual.
Suicide when
Soon, Touma is gathering enough alcool.
If any major character suicides it will be Taichi, realistically.
Never. Touma's future is for happiness only
Oh I would love that. The confession of his best friend that triggers the collapse of his identity, which triggers his suicide.
Delicious suffering.
That would have been a hilariously chad move, I concede that.
Well yeah, unless a teacher witnessed the fight and vouch for the guy who tried to stop it, that's usually what happens.
>Taichi's reaction did seem a little over the top.
Well, all of his history and interactions with Touma, everything Touma has said and done, his behavior,´all of it is up for re-evaluation.
Pieces start coming together, and Touma's behavior and him seeing Taichi in high regard, all makes more sense now, but at the same time everything Taichi thought about his relationship with Touma is all fuzzy and weird now, making Touma himself more of a foreign entity who Taichi really doesn't know at all in the end.
And then above that, Taichi needs to think what he himself thinks of Touma and his relationship with him, and whether his own previous feelings towards Touma could actually be not just friendship either, but infatuation.
I can mostly see this going to end with Taichi just feeling angry at Touma for not being open with him, and keeping this part of himself hidden, even if he himself doesn't understand it. Maybe.
AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH I WANT A TOUMA BF
Doubt he did.
Taichi doesn’t know how good he’s got it.
>Taichi had been butthurt about Touma refusing to hold his hand for almost a decade
I really like this developement, I was never into the Touma/Taichi end a lot of anons seem to want, they are friends and Touma never told Taichi anything nor suggested it, he prefered to avoid him and his feelings and only started talking again thanks to Favor, Taichi has all the right to turn him down and Touma needs to come to terms with his sexuality and get himself a boyfriend that cares for him
>all this shitting on Taichi and Futaba
Goddamn you Touma shippers are some seriously selfish people.
Shit fucking autocorrect, they started talking again thanks to Futaba Is what I meant
>it's Futaba and Taichi together being so fucking boring I start falling asleep whenever they are talking to each other.
so true
>ust to retcon that and spend the whole next chapter on those two again and "tear jerking for Futaba and her feelings" again
>always cry for some reason
>never happy
>she is blind to the suffering of those around her because she is only interested in herself
Fuutaba it's the worst in this story she always acts as the poor victim even when is Toma 's drama.
For some reason I found Taichi’s reaction kind of satisfying. Like it was refreshing to him looking so stricken in his room. Like this he’s really questioning himself.
Dumb slowpoke here, what was Touma trying to do by leaning over and staring down Taichi a few chapters ago?
Hypnotize him into being gay.
Yeah everybody Is like Futaba Is so boring because she never does anything when Touma Is the same most of his relationship developement with Taichi was because of the interference of other characters
>Touma's drama
Jesus Christ, it involves all of them.
(Give/see if) Taichi (had) a fucking clue of Touma's feelings and that he was also struggling with shit when Taichi sees him as someone with the perfect life.
>>become a priest and be single forever
i see what you did there
>That scene was shut because the author is trying to make us feel bad for the girl who has a boyfriend who loves her. Poor baby girl.
But the author has been doing this since the first chapter with her characterOf course only to have the reader's pity with her.
>shitty character and shitty girl
*To make us forget that she is not afraid to destroy a friendship between two best friends.
She was crazy in love with Touma (drama, crying) then go for Taichi and she don't see the pain of her best friend
And why not take a third option? Taichi ends up with Futaba or Mami, and Touma meets some cute dark haired twink. Everyone ends up happy.
this
No Masumi in the cover with them?
fuck you author san
taichi is gaaay
>The problem is the author trying to make it seems like SHE's the one suffering as if that situation would even happen.
Fuutaba is always the poor victim for this author .It's only her who suffering about this drama
>Futabas and Taichi's relationship development? It's stale and boring
Taichi has more chemistry with Masumi or Mami
Taichi's reaction is really good. Actually, Touma's words moved his entire world to the point he even yelled at his mother. He is in a very complicated situation. I wonder if any user here had ever been confused. When you don't return the feelings is always uncomfortable, no matter if you are rejecting a girl or a guy, and is hard to go back to the status quo with that person, even more when is a childhood friend.
You are really childish if you honestly think like this.
>Taichi's reaction did seem a little over the top.
Call me naive, but I think he blurted out that he loved Kuze so she could tell him the same and compare how her "I love you" felt compared to his.
Those
>...
were kind of telling he was thinking about it.
It's been only a chapter since the confession, so to act like the author has abandoned Touma to focus solely on Kuze is misguided.
Like , there's several characters who are gonna be affected by Touma forced coming out. Taichi is the most inmediate, being the guy Touma likes. Kuze as the girlfriend of Taichi, Mami as the girl who until recently was THIRSTY as fuck for Touma. Everyone will be affected by the gossip. I assume Touma will come and the story will focus on him for sure.
I want to see a manga about a bunch of guys gossiping about how two girls should date each other
Well it's no wonder you do after so many chapters where Taichi was blissfully oblivious of everything while Touma and the audience were dying inside. Let him get a taste of that medicine.
I mean that was pretty obvious to me. He is trying to figure out what this love thing is, and how it differs hearing I Love You from his girlfriend and his bestfriend.
I think part of the conflict is that Futaba sounded childish but honest, Touma sounded serious but honest, while Taichi's words were somehow calculated.
Guys would never gossip about that. They would gossip about how they'd love to have a threesome with those two hot girls.
>Taichi ends up with Mami
>If the author really wanted Futaba to overhear people gossiping, I think classmates suspecting that Taichi is just using Futaba as a beard and feeling sorry for her would've worked better than fujoshi bullshit.
The author wanted to please all the fujo with'''gossiping''who was pro fujo and against the poor girl but it's the opposite.
There's her reaction too. I think he was observing that in a way. Comparing how she reacted to those words with how he did to Touma's. It's true they are already dating and all but we know how it goes with these things in manga and anime.
>The author wanted to please all the fujo
please take my money.jpg
my heart
I think he was getting frustrated with how easy Taichi thought he had it, and was considering telling him right then and there.
That's exactly how I saw it but you worded it better than I did.
Even if Taichi is 100% straight and his feelings for Touma are 100% platonic, he will get at least slightly jealous (and feel guilty for being jealous) if Touma starts dating a gay lookalike of him, guaranteed.
This manga is actually asexual anti-abe propaganda that shows relationships are a horrible thing and nothing good comes of them.
What can I say, I ended up liking Mami, and I think they might actually have an interesting dynamic. Mami is more assertive and straightforward than Kuze, so paired up with a guy as shy as Taichi, it might not end up well, but who knows...
Mami is a reason I'm not too concerned that Touma wasn't the inmediate focus. The author probably will focus on the people closer to the coming out aftermath, and how rumors will affect them and their relationships with Touma when he returns. And considering Mami was unpopular because of thirsty she was around Touma, the dude who was gay, and how she was present when the fight happened... Bitches are going to tear her down a new one.
Non verbal coming out and probing for homosexual energy.
Basically he had just watched the Spiderverse and thought he'd try the "hey" thing on Taichi.
>lesbian attack dog
KEK
>self inserter
Get out.
I kinda wanna see that. I also want the Taichi lookalike to have a breakdown over not wanting to be Taichi's replacement for Touma.
>Touma shippers
I don't ship him with anyone though
Huh? In which character I'm self inserting? Because I sure as hell don't know.
Literally how is that related
Anyway, fuck off. And no, I'm not that guy.
Touma will find it one way or another.
Sasuga.
As the MC duh, you clueless summer child.
Why else would you ship this retarded ship? You admitted yourself you liked Mami. I'm just putting 2 and 2 together for you.
It's honestly what he deserves.
>We're going to get the straight ending, guys.
That's not a revelation of any sort to literally anyone who paid any attention to the last 42 chapters. Like what the fuck were you expecting?
Feel free to piss your jealousy of Mami or Taichi for taking your husbando/waifu's screentime, but try not to interrupt discussions next time.
Fair enough, instead of "Touma shippers", it should say "Toumafags".
Where can I find a bf with this build?
Jesus, calm down Fujo, you are embarrassing yourself and your peers.
I like Mami too but you don't see me ship her ass with Taichi out of nowhere.
Touma is in need of a fag who can heal his heart.
I agree with you.
The gay and the dyke will get together like the losers they are.
Can he be stopped?
Mate, I don't give a fuck who Mami ends up with as long she remains happy and relevant, be Taichi, Masumi or some other rando.
But I do want Touma to end up with his baseball club junior. Look at this cutie goddamm.
Oh really? Another "nothing happens" chapter?
They should. They'd make god tier children
So you are one of those canonfags who school shippers about how the obviously noncanon ships are noncanon.
He looks gay
But the moral of the story is that holding hands with midgets is the only path to salvation. Can't get much more sexual than this.
>that mole
YES
I can't wait for a chapter where he visit Touma to see how he is doing while he is suspended.
This. Call me crazy but we'll never get an anime because its essence (homo acceptance) is against Abe's policies.
He likes them tiny and adorable though
Now we are talking the same language. I cheer for them too, but also for Shingo. But well, Shiingo is probably asexual, so Einosuke-who-the-author-actually-minded.to-give-a-name is the chosen one. I hope.
See all this flags, he is the chosen one.
>But I do want Touma to end up with his baseball club junior
That's pretty good, he's still small compared to Touma even hunched over on crutches.
>Mami
I could see Shingo actually being in love with her but keeping his promise to her. I'm curious to find out what he did during the fight. I seriously doubt he hit Touma.
Einosuke a cute, and he is at least smaller than Touma.
What if Shingo confessed to Touma?
>needed to hold hands because he was scared a lot
>suddenly stopped holding hands one day without explanation
So what traumatic events did this kid go through?
They were in preschool, is nothing odd. But I wonder what happened with Touma to stop holding hands with Taichi. Did his brother say something?
That's what I was thinking
>it's for girls
He's around chest height on Touma. It works.
Interesting and opposite of my thoughts I suppose. I think he cares for Mami more than he lets on though.
We got straights, homos, Mami who wants friends but no boyfriends, she only needs an asexual to complete her platonic harem.
It's literally been one chapter. We already saw parts of the rumor mill, Taichi being confused, and some of the friend group's reactions. They're not just going to give you Toumangst immediately.
She should platonically marry Shingo and they can occasionally date other people on the side.
Soon Abe-kun, soon....
What changed his mind then? Taichi's spaghetti killing the mood?
And those two girls who called Taichi are not going to help either.
What a cutie.
Just caught up with this yesterday, is there any similar stuff lads ?
please
They look like yankees. Should be fun.
What did cute junior said to Taichi next page?
Kys discordtranny
They look older in there than in this chapter's flashback, but might be because they were drawn "chibbier" this time.
He apologized to him for being an asshole and blaming Taichi for Touma getting hurt.
>Who cares what Taichi wants and that he doesn't like dick?
I fully understand the point you are making but Futaba is exactly the kind of girlfriend who is secretly into pegging.
Honesty, there isn't. That's why this manga has so much traction.
Too many hints, I really hope he was made for a reason-reason.
This.
That’s hot. Imagine Futaba doing Taichi while making him call her “Touma”
You should probably say what aspects of it you like and are looking for more of.
Nope. Wait a month.
As another user pointed out he has a name so who knows.
Mostly this. Also I want Mami and Itachi to end up together. I feel like it could happen.
yesss
Mami suffered enough, I don't want her to be a battered wife.
Itachi can end up alone for all I care
>implying gays are human
Good one
>that's the pitcher, isn't it?
I can see it happening and he is cute but as long as Touma/Taichi is as adorable as it is I can't wholeheartedly root for him.
Maybe shimanami tasogare?
What Touma wants
>Is the message "gay people make straight couples suffer and should feel sorry about it"?
That's one hell of a reduction of Touma's feelings and the overall situation.
user said "similar" not "infinitely better"
I like Ao more because it doesn’t force all the different orientation/gender types down my throat like an instruction manual
Didn't you hear user, it's all part of the evil fujo agenda to exterminate gays from the earth.
Just trying to help
Sakamichi no Apollon but it’s not that good. Or if you want something gay there is Doukyuusei.
Can't really quite put my finger on honestly except for something really vague like "the "complexity" of the relationships/interactions"
Taichi really is adorable. I wonder why Touma never tried to discreetly find out if he was into guys or not. It's not like Taichi was womanizing or always commenting on girls.
It would certainly be an interesting turn narratively. All of Mami's woes about girls and boys not being able to simply be "friends" get thrown sideways when lesbians and gays are thrown into the mix. I'm sure Touma revealing he likes Taichi has already started to have her question her fighting against the "rules" that she hates so much, as said rules don't even take into account homosexual people or how they navigate their everyday lives. Mami finding out Masumi is also gay would certainly lead to more character growth, whether or not Mami ends up being bisexual.
>I'm sure Touma revealing he likes Taichi has already started to have her question her fighting against the "rules" that she hates so much, as said rules don't even take into account homosexual people or how they navigate their everyday lives.
But why would that make her hate the "rules" less? Just because they hurt other people in different ways doesn't change the way they've hurt her.
aio no Flag more like aio no straight right?
kek
This whole thread got way too wild.
I’m out here busy thinking of the important things, like when’s taichi going to open the charm Touma gave him...
The whole chapter itself was a bit of a tossup overall. Taichi didn’t really react in an abnormal manner though...imagine your childhood best friend confessing to you after so long. I’ve had my childhood friend do that to me right after high school graduation, and it was a bit of a hard pill to swallow because you don’t want to ruin the relationship as it is but then you also start thinking about the relationship as a whole.
In the end,I didn’t go out with him because he just simply wasn’t my type and I didn’t want to ruin that friendship we already had by even a relationship...
We’re still good friends though.
So I can generally feel taichi in his position.
Blue Fag
>blue straight
>when’s taichi going to open the charm Touma gave him
I thought he's not supposed to open it and wasn't it a study charm or something? Maybe after the exams?
It wouldn't make her hate the rules less but it would make her reconsider the "rules" in their entirety.
At this pacing how many chapters will it take before Touma makes it back to school?
That doesn't seem so clear. Maybe he just realized that telling him out of frustration was not a good idea.
>I'm sure Touma revealing he likes Taichi has already started to have her question her fighting against the "rules" that she hates so much, as said rules don't even take into account homosexual people or how they navigate their everyday lives.
Or has thrown her into despair. For all her talk of wishing she was a guy so she could just be friends with guys, just to find out that the guy she's into likes a guy (and is presumably gay)...
Well, she's seen the "rules" firsthand. She might reconsider how many people are affected by them but they clearly exist.
6 months at least
This is it
>and is presumably gay
What if Touma is just Taichisexual? It's all his brother's fault with the forced hand holding.
>xsexual
The biggest tragedy in any form of fiction.
The most patrician and pure form of love in fiction, you mean.
It's not that bad in real life either.
This is endgame.
If so promote him to main cast first and give him a personality. Token love interests are shit.
What's there to shit on Taichi for?
pffft
gossiping fujos are the new best girls fuck the haters with a poker
Kinda tough situation to be honest. The day dude was gay all along so the MC saying that his "world's view was turned upside down" is false because it didn't really change.
>Let the readers' thoughts be spoken by faceless fujos.
Ain't that just great.
>let the fujos' thoughts be spoken by faceless girls
FTFY. I mean, the girls are just gossipers, not necessarily fujos.
His life got flip turned upside down because his best friend is gay for him. This is new information for Taichi.
>implying heteros are human too
Fixed.
Fucking fujoshits, not sure if more retarded or delusional
Denial isn't just a river in egypt
You don't open charms. That gets rid of the luck. Sorta like you don't tell people what your birthday wish is when you blow out the candles.
so what's the purpose of ch 33.5? a fanart chapter without any meaning? in a manga where symbolism is prevalent?
Yes, that was just an extra published in the Jump Plus site with no deep meaning, this always happens with ongoing manga.
More like ao no way fag
Both sets of friends are already touchy and share food hold hands etc.
The homo no way fagged his str8 friend first, amazing.
I just want them all to be happy bros...
Would read the LN and manga, can't wait for the anime adaption by Netflix.
Tasaogare was actually bad developed. If it was only about MC trying to understand his gayness and meeting different people in the spectrum, then fine. But then mangaka fucked it because never knew what to do with Anonymous, and instead of deepening what it means to be an asexual, just went with LOL supernatural! And I don't even want to talk about the jock friend who suddenly was maybe-gay.
>still no porn where Taichi's small body gets manhandled by bara Touma
Where are the fujos when you need them most
Fanservice, retard.
This threads starting to become disgusting like SnK's.
Anime adaptation when?
Soon. It was on that AnimeJapan poll for anticipated anime adaptations.
more like ao no sad
Shame for archive readers who won't get scanslations for these future chapters. What does the title mean anyway.
Source?
The poll isn't up anymore but these are all the manga that were on the poll.
anime-japan.jp
Top 10 will be announced in Anime Japan next week.
That unironically happened in Antique Bakery.
It was actually 100 titles.
Ah my bad, thanks for the correction.
Lesbian Sherlock Holmes is that you
>Pokemon special
I'm surprised they'd adapt that, considering they already got a long running pokemon anime.
I'd be really psyched to see it animated though
>wants a homo end
Why? Are you mentally ill?
I want more moment with the dyke honestly and some Dj of her getting straightened out.
Homo acceptance is fine as long as the straight people still keep fucking.
I'm pretty annoyed that the chapter dealt with Futaba so much, but didn't really showcase how she feels about Touma and the situation. I wasn't even sure if she believed the rumor or not.
Disgusting.
?
Literally this.
>We're going to get the straight ending, guys
As it should be?
I seem to remember someone saying it's a type of flower. Which is fitting considering all the flower imagery in the story.
So Touma and Masumi are pretty much confirmed to end up as Cuckold and Cuckquean of the century right?
Probably, but only time will tell. At least the author isn't the type to have them both end up in straight relationships in the end.
Don't we all?
why do people like this manga again? i've read so many shoujo manga with the same bisexual love triangles and the only thing good about this one is the art.
>the only thing good about this one is the art
Exactly this. And because of it it's closest one to the mainstream.
>But then mangaka fucked it because never knew what to do with Anonymous, and instead of deepening what it means to be an asexual, just went with LOL supernatural! And I don't even want to talk about the jock friend who suddenly was maybe-gay.
I still think that the magazine it was in being axed and then the manga being cancelled played a big role in that, not leaving much time to explore anything before ending the story.
Do any of them attempt to be realistic like ANF seems to do?
No shit, fag.
I like the characters and the cute moments. In general I found it extremely easy to get invested in unlike most romance manga I've attempted to read, especially shojo. Which I suppose makes sense considering this isn't shojo.
Because this one is the best.
What shoujo you read that you think is on par or better than this?
I hope something actually happens next month.
Well some kind of confrontation between Taichi and... someone is going to happen, whether it's the girls or Shingo and the homophobe baldie.
Where is the author even going with Kuze or this boring romance? Kuze was interesting to follow in the first chapters when she was trying to change herself as well as to pursue Touma, but now she just exists to for the sake of it. I'm not sure if it's just a romance manga issue where the characters get together too early and the manga gets stale, but her scenes with Taichi are boring as fuck.
I don't give a shit about Taichi and I'm aware that he'll never end up with Touma because he's not homo nor I want for that to happen.
At this point I'm reading for Mami and the homos.
She is there to keep the manga straight.
She does need some sort of character development though, or at least something she is ambitious about. I feel like she is just floating around without a clear path, or a clear goal. I think she'll end up sacrificing something in her life to achieve that.
>something she is ambitious about
There is that whole thing with her trying to get into a high level university away from home.
What happened at Touma's home? How come his family is just letting him (presumably) wander around?
Touma shouldn't have stopped handholding he had him by the balls
Bloom Into You
Based
Is it weird to anyone how chaste Taichi and Futaba are with one another even though they've been dating for a bit now? I know it's because they're both inexperienced autists but I'm surprised they haven't even kissed by this point.
Did the two homos become such close friends with the two heteros because they fell for them or vice versa? Which is the cause and effect here?
>not a single lewd fanart of them ever since the start of the manga
What the fuck is wrong with this world
Not really, neither of them has a sex drive. They're shy teenagers who found an emotional connection. You see a lot of those among the nerds in high school.
>now she just exists to for the sake of it.
For me that's the default state of a shojo heroine.
It is the will of causality.
There's not much but here you go.
pixiv.net
You have to searchトマタイ because fujoshi don't want their shit discoverable when searching the general tag. Also, the mangaka has a pixiv account and they don't want him to see it either.
>the mangaka has a pixiv account
what is it?
Based. Love you user
Thank you.
This one looks like a prototype of Touma
There's no way this will not end with a suicide
It won't
God I hope so
Futaba's suicide when
Taichi's suicide when. Based lesbo is more alpha, she can be the new mc
user, why?
Group suicide would be kino
>this turns out to be the real message of the manga
f is for friends who do stuff together
Touma almost certainly became friends first and fell in love later. With Masumi, who knows.
Makes you wonder how Touma even found out Taichi was straight/asexual or if he just assumed he had no chance.
Taichi is shit if he doesn't properly talk to him in the next chapter, the dude saved his life so he at least can treat Touma like a friend in return
Thanks, user
Bloom Into You is shonen
*suicide attempt
Fun fact: there's a very simple reason why fujoshi exist. A large chunk of the female population is incapable of processing feelings like loyaly, honor or comradeship, and thus believes that any such expression of said feelings is instead concealing a deep carnal lust. This crucial fact is epitomized by the existence of revolting fanarts and yaoi hands.
It's not like yurifags are any better, for both of these categories of otaku, friendship between the same sex simply can't exist.
This doesn't apply in Touma's case though.
>yurifags
Fuck them too t b h, not a surprise most of them are literally mentally challenged idiots who call themselves 'eggs'.
>Boring romance
You never been in a real relationship? Some jump straight to sex, some develop slowly, even more with teenagers that doesn't know how to behave. Futaba is extremely shy, and she did a lot of things in the manga to grow up, of course some people won't notice it because are too self absorbed. Without Touma there, the conflict between Taichi and Futaba would be about shyness, and how the insecurity and lack of communication can also ruin a relationship.
If Touma is doing something now, is pushing Taichi and Futaba to open to each other, in order of go deep in their bond or break up because is not enough for them.
How is that any different from people who think that a girl and a boy can't be friends without wanting to fuck (aka 99% of Yea Forums)?
Fun fact: there is a big chunk of population, men, women, trans, homos, incapable of processing feelings at all. Loyaly, honor and comradely are things you also look in a romantic partner. The point is you need to want to fuck a person you also admire and trust as much as said person wants to fuck you and admire you and trust you. So, the reason why romance is so plain and empty in movies, tv shows, and so, is because people is only looking for the experience of winning something, not the experience of forming a bond with another person. Hence your monthly romcom always ends when the guy gets the girl, or vice versa, and never explore further.
He looks like Dorohedoro's Shin.
The manga already shat on those people with Masumi, it's only fair also fujoshi get shat on for being worthless people. Funnily enough I was just thinking of Dorohedoro like this user , in which the main duo are just friends.
Either the pacing is off or there's not enough focus on them, but Futaba and Taichi stopped developing as characters the moment they started dating. At the moment even shy couples in shoujo manga feel more fun to read about.
I hope the author does something with them, the moment he's done with Touma's arc
Actually, fujos exist because they live in the madonna/whore dichotomy, or at least see society in it, and don't allow themselves to be whatever they want be because they fear repercussions (of being a slut, or pushy etc). So they project onto homo relationships. You'll see fujos almost always revere a character, the one they're attracted to, and self-insert in another. The exact same things happens with yurifags. They ship homo because it frees them from their gender-specific relationship restrains.
Everything is basically self-insertion.
>wants to fuck you and admire you and trust you
True bliss, never happens.
But at least Shin and Noi ended together? I mean, Kaiman and Nikaido ending as friends is ok to me.
Cute drawing. The straight couple got separated by KAITO him/herself.
Probably the dumbest post ITT.
I can only identify Touma, Taichi, Futaba, lesbian friend... And nobody else.
t. fujo
>trans
>people
Go back
t. retard
Well.. These threads turned to shit pretty quickly. I'd say the moment they started to hit bumplimits it was already too late.
Fujos don't self-insert, the only ones who self-insert are yumejos and they hate homo.
The rest are from KAITO's other works. The girl and boy to the left of Masumi are the Cross Manage protagonists.
>Spectrum Detective is a manga about a detective whose incredible skills can make him discover the sexual orientation of any person!
They havent been dating that long, and they have exam shit and all this retardation has been going on around them. Remember Mami trying to get close to Taichi, that caused issues. Now there's this whole shit with the school festival and Touma's confession.
Bloom Into You is both shonen and shoujo
>her scenes with Taichi are boring as fuck
*hnnnng as fuck
I'd still prefer it if banana hamster meme happened but they're cute too. Futaba trying to be the best version of herself against other people's perceptions of her and Taichi doing his best at being supportive of his girlfriend's future career warms my heart.
You can't tell me Taichi doesn't have some kind of feelings for Touma. It's just that he is autistic and can't recognize this feeling, and maybe mistakes it as jealousy or admiration, when it's more than that.
>Kaito confirmed for Taichifag and Futabfag who self-inserts into both MCs
No wonder they haven't kissed, touching yourself in your own manga is weird.
Serious question, putting delusions aside, what are the sexualized panels of Touma in the mc's POV suposed to convey? The one of him licking his lips is the other main one I noticed. It has to be deliberate, the manga is usually subtle with visual cues, Touma's gazes at Taichi in early chapters were much harder to notice and I wouldn't have noticed without spoilers. Is it Taichi subliminally picking up that the guy wants to bone him? Setting up the "having a gay friend makes me question my sexuality" arc?
user, that's some people's actual intellectual feminist theory about why women watch gay porn.
"WHy Is iT IcHInoSe iN The FIRsT PLacE? wHat'S so GOOD AbOut Him?"
Kaito:
I don't want to jump the gun, but I do think there's a chance that there are feelings at play, just that Taichi is unable to recognize them as what they truly are. And how could he, really.
>Setting up the "having a gay friend makes me question my sexuality" arc?
I bet it’s this, and even though the eventual answer will be that Taichi is straight, questioning it will make Futaba insecure enough to break up with him
It's going to be rough, Futaba will probably start feeling like she is a wedge between Taichi's and Touma's relationship, and Touma would probably kill himself rather than have his best friend and his love suffer from a break up because of him.
It's Taichi's time to shine and be assertive of what he wants because there's two people in his life who love him, want him AND want all the best for him to the point they would probably sacrifice themselves for Taichi to be happy.
>two hamster
>the banana want to be sucked by the male hamster
Imagine if Taichi realizes he's bisexual but he still ends up concluding he only likes Touma as a friend and stays with Futaba.
>he still ends up concluding he only likes Touma as a friend
How does that make any sense when Touma is the greatest guy, and the most handsome guy ever?
No, if there's some kind of coming out by Taichi, it's definitely going to end with him getting it on with Touma, if not now, then after a time skip.
Taichi is straight. Making him bi out of nowhere would be an asspull
Imagine being this fucking delusional
It probably makes him uncomfortable. Didn't he even ask him why he just sat there silent with Taichi on his chest?
What's delusional about it?
>No, if there's some kind of coming out by Taichi, it's definitely going to end with him getting it on with Touma, if not now, then after a time skip.
In the unlikely case it goes in this direction, to cause maximum suffering it should take a year or two for Taichi to realize he likes Touma, and then confess, except Touma is already over him
>And how could he, really.
Putting aside the issue of whether it actually has a chance, if you told me Taichi had feelings for Touma and I read the manga with that assumption, I'd see it as active repression and denial as opposed to naive inability to recognize his feelings.
Even in canon he's a master at this, if the translation is exact then just last chapter he managed to turn off his hearing mid-sentence when that girl said "the one Touma likes is...", that takes skill bro.
he feels the predatory homo vibes but is too autistic to understand them
Taichi is Futabasexual.
Now wouldn't that be cool though. Taichi had it good, but in his denial, confusion and trying to figure his path, he missed several paths of happiness and is now alone.
Nah, it's not going to end up that sad for Taichi.
> Futabasexual
>hasn’t even kissed her yet
he is too autistic for any real love
>a year or two in the manga
>translated into real time at the monthly chapter rate
Good plan, by the 22nd century shonen MCs will all be gay.
Timeskip, obviously
>Futabasexual
Nah, he wasn't even interested in Futaba until they got to know each other. She reminded him of his weak self.
for a teenage boy, he has very little interest in romance or sex
Point is he's more asexual than straight.
First chapter made obvious he was watching her for years. His friends even pointed out they thought she was the type of person he would like. He just didn't want to admit it to himself because of what you said.
I WANT A TOUMA BF
It's been established that Touma has homofying magic powers that are guaranteed to work on at least one person (himself). I suppose prolonged exposure could do a number on a susceptible target.
It's obvious he had feelings for her early on and was trying to deny it. Saw himself in her and he couldn't very well jump into those feelings when he was trying to help her with Touma.
>last two anf release threads reach bump limit
Crazy stuff. It seems like a lot of people picked this up after the Touma confession.
Me, I picked it up to see if it was ripping off Koi to Uso.
The joke's on you, I've been reading it before touma and masumi were revealed to be homos. But it's nice to finally have someone to talk to about it
Both of these better not cure homos
Saying I love you on the phone with no meaning behind was not nice, Taichi is a dick both to Touma and Futaba I want the very first panels to come true, no friends, no girlfriends, nothing.
isn't this manga about the cute tomboy slapping some random dude who confessed her?
No but that does happen. She's not really a tomboy, just had short hair at the time to try and make herself less attractive to boys.
