I mean...... it WAS influential.... in the early 2000's. But its almost 2020 now. Im not really sure how teaming up with adult swim could be bennificial to crunchyroll.
I think western investment in anime is good if it's done the way Toonami has been doing it. For Big O season 2 and FLCL season 2 Toonami basically just funded the new anime and gave the studios complete creative control over what was actually in the new anime. I think that a great way of doing things, because it's just new anime we never would have gotten otherwise. FLCL wasn't too good, but I think Toonami should keep trying either way.
