I made the right decision years thankfully.
>watch DTB season 1 years ago
>thoroughly enjoyed it
>never got around to watching season 2
>through years of coming on here and people calling it shit, never want to revisit it
>maintain good memory of the show and gave it an 8/10
No point in watching certain sequels. Same goes for Steins Gate, Psycho Pass 2, Eureka 7: Ao.

Did you watch the OVA? Those are still good.
And while overall S2 is nowhere near as good as S1, it features the single best scene out of the entire series.

The problem with me is my autism will make me go back to watching season 1 to understand season 2, I hate watching fights without knowing the context.

S2 was amazing, shut the fuck up

Sun will rise, close your eyes

I would love to have a DTB prequel. We learn so little about the war they had over heavens gate. If a series were to be set in that period, we could see powerless Hei in action, alongside Amber, Pai and Havoc. Also, other contractors that we are familiar with like November 11 and Wei, would also have taken part of that war. Half of the show could be about the war in the jungle and half could be about Hei after he becomes a contractor. Maybe show him working alone until the syndicate puts him together with his season 1 team. They could start out a bit rough, but then learn to work as a team. This truly is the only way to do another DTB sequel. You basically don't have to touch the ending of season 2 for that.

I liked season 2

Season 2 had that kino OP though.

Yeah while s2 might not compare well to 1, it still had its moments. And a fun soundtrack. youtu.be/hIlYZihSPY8

Downfallen!

Right here.

Read the manga, it's great and serves as a proper s2
The OVAs are sort of alright too

S2 OST wasn't done by Kanno, hence it's shit

E1

I still have a thing for her to this day.

NOW THAT I'VE LOST IT

I KNOW I CAN KILL

THE TRUTH EXISTS BEYOND THE GATE

I wanted to watch season 2 but I read somewhere that Hei dies, but his soul will go back to where he is happiest, which is in season 1 episode 1.

some plebs didnt read the prequel of ova manga

Wasn't there a staff reunion or some shit last year? Did any S3 hints come out of that?

When they decided to air S2 before making the OVA availables, they were on the BRs if I remember right.

More like browner than shit.

Based. I'm gonna use that from now on.
