Last time, Kanade and Shouko went to see Tamaki perform and while Kanade enjoyed the performance she didn't quite get the actual meaning of the performance. Afterwards Shouko admitted that she saw the Paris Opera's performance of Swan Lake thinking Kanade would be mad but of course Kanade wasn't. From there Kanade arrived in France where she met her roommate for the next week: Andrea Mendoza, who got silver at last year's YAGP dancing Kanade's same variation.
This time, Kanade learns that communication can be difficult as she starts her week of training in Marseille.
Maho was one of the seemingly random people mentioned as being in the top 12 at the YAGP preliminaries. Naturally she's going to be one of Kanade's buddies during this trip.
I wonder when/if she'll become more aware of romantic stuff. She didn't really seem to think anything of it when starting pas de deux or at least never seemed to look at the boys like that. I don't think (if it comes up) they'd go the /u/ route with her either though there is that and the "I'll be your man in a pas de deux" scene with Shouko.
Only girl so far that seems to have even remotely noticed a boy is Julia towards Akito at the start of the pas de deux class.
