Getting a pawn isnt the problem. The problem is the cost associated. Hamazura is simply not even close to as useful as the sword he is carrying. The cost benefit balance is simply too lopsided. Its clearly done just so Hamazura has an excuse to be involved in the story. This isnt Accelerator holding the sword, and coronzon weighing whether or not he's a useful pawn, if it would be hard to take it by force, etc. There's really basically nothing Hamazura can do for coronzon that she can't do herself, and it would take no effort to take the sword. Its a complete contrivance.
