Never. They've tried several times and it's never worked. It's also barely active as a manga and will probably never have an ending.

Indeedo. The artstyle is too elaborate to do justice on a budget, there simply isn't enough profit to be made.
You also have to consider it's extremely gory and violent, which further limits its audience.
The fact it will take at least 15 more years to finish also is a factor of course. The odds we will see Miura complete it is 1 in 5 maybe.

The first adaptation is clearly struggling with budget limitations, but it does a pretty good job with what it has even if it's a slideshow half the time.
The amazing OST also helps.

The art isn't even good anymore. is actually correct, it is the edge that attracts people to this series. It's not a coincidence that it's the only thing about the series that ever gets any extended discussion.
