The connection is revealed pretty much instantly (the fortune teller scene) but I agree that they should keep the true nature of Doppio and Bossu ambiguous until the Colosseum

Just trying to keep in mind the context of his identity change both before and after his reveal as Diavolo, they could potentially pull a Koichi and have Doppio on his own until the reveal then have a Diavolo silhouette over him, but it's equally as likely that DP could do something a bit more on the nose, since this new OP is most likely going to last to the end of the part, so they need to have enough Diavolo/Doppio content/presence in the OP to fit even for the finale episodes ((and the final version of the OP))

I just reread the Clash/Talking Head arc a few days ago and it makes me think it was Tiz. Tiz was much more like the dominant personality and leader of the group so Doppio calling Squalo would feel a bit odd.

I like Vento Aureo's ending because it has alot of drama in it. Like figuring out which body KC's hiding in, Diavolo unwillingly helping the gang in defeating Requiem, turtlenareff, bruno flying off into the sky, etc.

We've got to see two Requiem stands, they look and work wildly different. There is indeed a reason to believe all Requiem upgrades would be unique.

Giorno can control Requiem as GER (to a point) and it even enhanced his own abilities. Silver Chariot just turned into a shadow of itself.
This is why Silver Chariot faded away into smoke after becoming Requiem, while GE's original form cracked apart and birthed GER.

Both requiem stands control souls. They do do different things but both uses we saw are a result of having control over souls, so it's not strange to think that that's what any requiem stand would be able to do. Polnareff evens says that this is the case during his flashback. They do look different though. The potential reason for this is that Requiem distanced itself from Silver Chariot because it wasn't being controlled by Polnareff (and stands are supposedly a reflection of the soul to some extent) while GER was being controlled by Giorno and so kept a resemblance to GE.

Abbachio has black lips just like augmented DIO to complement his goth look, and part 5 is actually when Araki first drew colored lips on a cover. If the sky, eyes, hair and everything else can be any color (because Araki doesn't really give anyone any 'canon colors'), then so can lips, and keep in mind all these colors for hair, eyes and sky are used in regular manga pages or anime, not volume colors.

However, it is an interesting question of trying to figure out who is supposed to be wearing lipstick and who isn't, because after all JoJo makes me want to wear lipstick but its still not socially acceptable baka

The problem with Narancia's death is that the body swapping bullshit destroyed the emotional impact.

It's brutal and it comes out of nowhere, I like how JoJo alternates between more poetic and beautiful but unrealistic deaths with long monologues and dialogues and then goes on to do stuff like that or Gyro's, that one was just brutal.

How did less than 30 seconds pass during the entire sequence of events starting before Giorno was pulled into the mirror?
Why did the brick snake deliberately seek out Illuso despite the fact that Giorno's animals are supposed to have free will of their own and snakes only seek out humans when they're the only source of body heat, and this fight happened in the middle of the day?
Why was the brick snake immune to the virus just because it was born in the virus, but later on in the White Album fight, Giorno can't create animals in conditions they can't survive in?
How did the vaccine cure Giorno? That's now how vaccines work. Once you get infected with a virus, you have it forever. You need to vaccinate before you get infected.
Most of the fights in part 5 are good, but MitM was so full of nonsense. It seems like Araki made the stand too powerful to defeat and needed to make up bullshit in order for the gang not to just die.

Why does the ending have to be on cours if the opening isn't?

The recap episodes don't count against the episode count. They're essentially the same as if they were taking a break for a week but they're just putting something to fill the slot rather than it being a rerun or something else. At the end there's going to be 39 actual episodes and 2 (or more) recap episodes.

The opening is on (more or less) halves. We get a new OP next week at about the halfway point and at the transition into the second of two major arcs. The ending visual transition's placement was completely arbitrary except for the fact that it was exactly one third through the anime's airtime. If Araki rewrote Jorge Joestar to make sense and took out some of the insane stuff (DIO fighting his own Stand, Erina keeping Jonathan's severed head, Reimi being a Stand, a dolphin Stand that doesn't belong to Jotaro, Mista's Stand being transgender volleyball players instead of the yellow guys, etc), it would be epic.
