On announcement of S2 there is zero information about who is producing it. None of the Voice actors/stuff twitted or told absolutely anything about involvement, aside from english dub, which will be the same.

She actually is. Everything about her is a concept that another dragon already does, especially her initial storyline which is just Tohru's story of "chaos dragon hates humans, then suddenly she falls in love with Kobayashi".
She doesn't really bring anything to the table, but she moves in with Kobayashi anyway which only clogs up the apartment. Cool forgetting about her is kinda silly when she is supposed to live at that very place, but she is background noise at best and completely absent at worst. And who honestly cares about Take? Even when she had her one chance of being relevant, the one thing she did in the dragon war arc was getting beat up and then staying at home for the finale where every other dragon got something to do. Not to mention her design being so damn inconsistent, but that is the least of her problems anyway.

Seriously each episode following Kobayashi and her dragon pals has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.

Perhaps the die was cast when COOL vetoed the idea of a studio other than KyoAni directing the series; he made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously moe cross-promotion for his mangas. The Maid Dragon series might be feminist in the dub (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-Konosuba series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. The writing is dreadful; the manga was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character cleaned dust, the author wrote instead that "CHORAGONS"

COOL's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that he has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Maid Dragon by Shuz. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Maid Dragon at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Monster Girl Quest." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Maid Dragon" you are, in fact, trained to read Monster Girl Quest.

While sad, Kobayashi-san dying isn't what's important.
What matters is the fact that she was there to make Tohru's life infinitely better for even a brief moment, and that some part of her has been permanently changed for the better because of this. That, right there, is Kobayashi-san's legacy, and to know that it will outlive any human accomplishment, past or present, is to know the reason why Tohru continues to stay with her.
A single chance interaction has the raw power to show a person a world that he never knew existed, and that's the whole message behind this anime.
It's disappointing that everyone seems to miss this.
