So is Ikkitousen still running? How much does the anime actually cover if so? Because it seems like every so often they have a new series out.

I never really got into it when it was first airing but was in the mood for something retarded with lots of fighting and tits.

last ova of western wolves (3 ovas) was released a few weeks ago

Yeah, I saw they had a new thing out, but I was wondering if the anime basically covered the entirety of the manga or if the manga even had an ending.

The manga hasn't ended yet so far there are 27 volumes

The anime and manga are two completely different continuities.

I remember nothing about this series anymore. Is it good T&A fanservice? Or is it just some yuri crap.

It annoyed me how they used the Japanese versions of everybody's names so I couldn't figure out who was supposed to be who.

oh, well thats good to know.

From what I do remember there was a lot of tits on display.

watch the miniovas, ww has lots of fanservice too

Is it true that there's no translation beyond volume 16?

Seems like the official release has dropped off around that point anyways. Whomever held the license just stopped.

i think it was tokyopop

Yeah, they brought it over as Battle Vixens (For some reason.) wonder why they dropped it. If they invested into 16 volumes it probably wasn't because of sales.

What the fuck, I thought it ended like 10 years ago? I downloaded the last three chapters and there was a proper ending

that translation was pure garbage from what I've heard anyway

I remember some anons saying that they introduced too much ghetto slang for some characters, yep the series is almost 20 years old, also there was supposed a new 12 episodes series based mainly on Shin Ikkitousen, instead we got Western wolves.

There is also a spinoff named Ikkitousen Gaiden announced, it will probably be no more than three volumes, more recently the gacha game will close in a week, I enjoyed it but it was nothing more than a clone of Law of creation.

I don't recall ever hearing much good about Tokyo Pop to start with *fouch Initial D*

Nice pic, the best girl.

Ill be honest, some random user posting her pic in another thread was what got me interested again

The author said that he will like to draw the series forever.

It was made by Keith Feces Giffen just like with Battle Royale. Pure american quality as you can expect.

The ghetto slang isn't the problem but they completely changed some of the dialogue to the point that important plot points are lost.

it's great
