At the beginning of the series, I wouldn't have expected them to even address this point, what with how fluffy everything was. I do like it, but I'm not entirely sure how it'll be resolved. Anything bittersweet wouldn't really match the tone and a law-evading marriage would almost certainly be too bullshit. All I can think of is an ending where they decide they don't need to get married because they're already family, but I'm not sure if she'll actually go for that considering the extent to which they've maintained the dual-life and "I want to be more than just..." things.
