Because most CN novel translators aren't doing it for epeen but because they like the story and read it as they TL. Whereas most isekai TL are only doing it for pageviews/donations/epeen and don't care about the story at all, hence more likely to drop it on a whim.

Because many isekai LNs also have web novel counterparts, which makes it super easy to just dump that into google translate, and try to make sense of the mess that gives you.
The people who do these don't actually know Japanese, and only want e-points, without having any real passion for translation.
Wuxia and the like are in a similar position, but because there's so many fucking chinks, some of them just want to share stories they like.

In short, there just isn't enough translators with a passion. It doesn't help that if you learn Japanese, it's only useful on a tiny backwater island, while if you learn Chinese, there's over a billion people to speak it with. Few people have the patience to learn a new language for a hobby.

Zero of it, aside from some rant on lacking worldbuilding that avoided listing the reasons for why my writing didn't work and told me to start over.

Consider that even among polytheistic cultures, most people only worshiped one or two gods on the regular, while occasionally asking for things from more specialized gods. Inanna may have started as the patron goddess of some village or city, that took on various roles all at once, instead of splitting her into many smaller goddesses. There were still some other gods like for Death and such, but anything important to daily life was in Inanna (and later for the Spartans, Aphrodite)

This is also how the modern Abrahamic god came about. The Bible originally had mentions of other gods, and even now kinda admits "Yeah, sure, there are other gods, but make sure to worship me as your primary god!" Heroes like Gilgamesh and such were explained as being "the children of the gods", who later were demoted into "the children of god", presumably now angels. Jews eventually decided to just drop other gods, or merge them all into YHWH.

The deities in question would originate from bronze age when mostly everyone ran palace economies with the kings controlling everything. So to kings great fertility led to amassing great armies for war.

I like the discussion, but in fantasy like isekai, gods are usually very well defined entities that are distinct and real. None of the messy and blurriness with true pantheons.

In my setting, I've taken some inspiration from animist views, and tried setting up gods as a kind of "collective imaginary friend", that all are real, with real power and all, but act more as guardian spirits, as opposed to all-powerful rulers and creators.
I've also used this quality of "believing it makes it real" to explain mundane things like the placebo effect, but the magic is limited enough such that using anything practical (beyond flukes) requires years of training and practice. There's a lot of weirdness to my magic system, and maybe I've gone and over-complicated it, really.

Someone should write an entire story about that. Preferebly one where the girls don't melt when they get too old and didn't get a semen injection.

How much sense does it make for the nobles rule over certain territories to conscript peasants and give them some basic equipment (with the quality of the equipment varying depending on how rich the territory is or how much the noble is willing to spend)? Does it make more sense for each peasant to be in charge of his own equipment?

As always it depends on social and economic realities of the area. The reason nobles didn't arm their peasants beyond the most basic means is because it was incredibly expensive to do so - nobles simply could not afford decent armor for their men most of the time. Remember that the European order of affairs evolved much from the Germanic order - knights were historically the armoured cavalry elite of Germania, often kin or sworn families of the King. The bulk of their forces were volunteers or conscripts using whatever armour they could find or scavenge and with weapons that were often converted tools or leftovers from previous campaigns.
Historically, peasants were often expected to bring their own equipment as much as possible. They might've been given spears, or a helmet, or sometimes a shield, but the expectation was that dad had a spear stashed away.

way too expensive to arm all your peasants, especially when most of them are farmers whose taxes individually don't amount to much. looking at historical battles as a whole, local levied militias have had very little mpact on whether a battle is successful so there isn't any real reason to invest equipment in them anyways. it's more cost effective to just hire mercenaries at times of war since you're not responsible for their finances in peacetimes and they come pre-trained

Said smaller armies would be pretty much a few knights from noble families and a shitton of peasants given basic training and some basic shit like a weapon and some low-grade armor.
The idea was for the kingdom to focus on numerical superiority + cooperation instead of the individual quality of their soldiers since I wanted that to contrast with a rival kingdom which centralized its army and focused on quality over quantity.

This is more or less historically accurate. The difference is that 'low grade armour' and weapon would've been brought by the peasants themselves, because 'low grade armour' generally meant 'a really fukken thick quilted shirt, work gloves, and a thick leather cap''.

I just want to point out that this historically rarely ever happened. Centralization tends to come with size, since for smaller units decentralization is logistically more efficient. "Tall" is a thing that happens rarely in history. This shouldn't stop you, I just wanted to bring it to your attention.

The problem with a standing army, you have to understand, is that it was extremely expensive. The reason people didn't have them wasn't because they were stupid and didn't want one, it was because they were poor and couldn't *afford* one. The idea was to have a small 'standing army' of elite troops, and to levy massed infantry when needed, because it just wasn't feasible to have long wars with large numbers of people on your payroll. Even the Roman legions began as citizen soldiers, expected to bring their own equipment and work in the fields after campaign season ended, and post-Marian reforms they were still expected to perform civic duties when they weren't out killing things.

Now, assuming that the MC finds ways to pay, feed, and clothe these guys - because remember that a man who's a full-time soldier is a man who isn't a full-time father or farmer or carpenter or tailor - you then need to think about whether or not it makes sense to have a standing army. Because the big thing about a standing army is that it's generally unnecessary if you're not expecting attacks during non-campaign seasons or long, gruelling wars that go on through late fall and winter, massive foreign campaigns, and so on.

Lastly, and least consequentially, there's the problem of who the fuck the MC thinks he is to raise a standing army. From the noble side of things this is obvious - he's probably an upstart and doesn't have the authority to do this and nah fuck you we're not paying top arm peasantry - but even from the peasant side you might face stiff resistance. The obvious reasons aside, you might run into cultural issues. The Chinese, for example, thought of the soldier are almost the shittiest job you could ever aspire to, below farmers, fishers, and *whores*, If you tried to raise a new standing army in this sort of culture (assuming they didn't already have one) then you'd probably face incredible resistance. Just something to think about.

Other than revolutionizing agriculture (Not entirely unreasonable, England and the US both did it before Industrial farming equipment) so you can get more of a 75%-25% split, your best option is almost certainly to institute mandatory and significant militia training at wherever you are.
