Hopefully, one of the sources of well trained directors, animators, etc will come from Trigger and people will have found memories of looking at Trigger as the career starter for many people. At times I wish they had access to some of the old gainax properties (Panty and Stocking) but its best to leave those in the past. Also like how they interact with their fans to the point where they opened up the patreon; the best part is even though they interact with fans they won't ever determine what will be made.

I don't really care waiting but I understand the sentiment. It does feel like watching something new and refreshing seeing people like amemiya direct. It is really cool of them too for the fan interaction.
BTW I believe they said before that the reason they don't make psg 2 is cause it's hard to air comedies in japan. This is something
yoh yohshinari said on stream. I think they do have the property, they just aren't finding the opportunity to make something of it.

Yeah they really went crazy with how far they pushed it. They also made it in 4 by 3 aspect ratio to add to that old feel on top of the limited animation.

I can understand why some anons may not like it, but fuck it I love Trigger. Looking forward to Promare and hope Amemiya gets to direct new anime. Inferno Cop & SSSS.Gridman are really good.

I love trigger and most of their shows, but I'm really not sure about Promare. I hope its great, but i'm not putting any faith in it, since i wont see it for months after its released. i hope their next series is as fun as gridman was, thats the main thing i love about them - season long shitposting festivals while we speculate on what the fuck might happen next week.

And yes, Trigger was involved due to bromantics of those fags, but that doesn't make it a Trigger show, and certainly not an Imaishi original. Even though harem battle highschool is a real eyebrow raiser "when supernatural battles became commonplace" is a hidden gem. If you are never gonna watch it in your life, at least do yourself a favor and watch the " I don't understand" scene on youtube.
