Robin has told us quite a bit about the void century even if usually she's short about what the glyphs say, or annoyed that they only talk about the weapons.
If we compiled every void century lore drop so far it'd be quite a bit. It's frustrating to the reader to not know what happened in the void century, just as it's frustrating to the people of the OP world.

Zoro will fight Vista, who got transfered Jozu's Diamond ability. It was foreshadowed in Marineford that Mihawk couldnt cut Jozu's diamond, and Vista and Mihawk fought on par. Then Vista said they'd settle the fight later. Vista will kill Mihawk (Mihawk training Zoro during timeskip already redeemed him anyway) and be the new strongest swordsman capable of turning into diamond (foreshadowing of Mr.1 asking Zoro if he's gonna cut diamond next).
It also goes really well with Vista's rose petal aesthetics.

Vista was BB's accomplice in WB's crew.

Alternatively, Shiryu gets transfered the diamond ability and will face Zoro, but I see more connection between him and Brook with the death and satanistic aspects of his design.

Nice but Kyros lack of a leg is a pretty big nerf. Also Kyros seems to not have such a destructive power to his slashes tbqh. Looking at his fighting style in flashbacks and what he taught Rebecca he was more of a type to specialize in passing people's defenses in close combat and taking them out with precise strikes. For that type of fighting style losing a leg means almost no maneuverability left and is probably the biggest nerf that can happen that doesn't take away the ability to fight in general.

The ones implied to be strongest have low numbers, but it's probably more of a seniority thing (joining when crew was rather young and small if I was to venture a guess.
