worst thing about anime adaptations are the awful pasting. ever the plot is rushed or infested with meaningless filler. story ends unsettling since the studios mostly want you to pick up the Manga/LN anyway.
That is why you don't have that problem

I don't watch anime exactly for the reasons I stated and none of the shit you listed there is of any importance to me. Artwork is 90% of the time worse, soundtracks are 99% bland to utter shit, the JP voices I couldn't give a flying sorry fuck about with a gun to my head and sakuga is a crutch used to offset that budget and time restraint problem I talked up above and I honestly don't know how the fuck is it a positive point.

It was interesting to begin with. I wasn't that into 02 as everyone else was. What mostly kept me interested was the society of parasites and "adults". I wanted to know more about the how the world worked and how society reached where it ended up becoming a bunch of fre-roaming city-states funded by a child soldier society.
But then... you know, "that" happened. The story jumped the shark, it introduced completely unrelated elements when the story should have focused more on what was happening in the world.

There are very few anime with artwork comparable to the manga they adapt. Being an ADHD child that can't concentrate on something without the music and voices also doesn't put you in a good light. Anime is only good for originals but most of the stuff that gets popular is an adaptation of something. But even originals these days are usually trash that just try and cash in on the latest fad rather than actually being good.

It's a shame though that most manga aren't made to be a specific length and are basically made to run until they're cancelled or the author decides he wants to end it. Anime usually doesn't have that problem but I also hate the seasonal structure, not to mention cours which force your anime to be in increments of 12 or 13 episodes instead of something more malleable.

Even high budget movies don't look very good these days, partially because of CGI. CGI is not in its infancy. It's been around for decades. Even some 80s and 90s anime used it in small amounts. And Japan has been doing CGI video game cutscenes for a long time too. TV anime is low budget and on a deadline and so is always going to have shitty looking CGI. CGI in movies doesn't really have an excuse, it's just laziness or having people working on it who don't know what they're doing.

Manga doesn't need a large budget to be good or competent. And using hypotheticals doesn't do anything. If every anime looked like Akira and great writing too that would be great and I'd probably watch more anime but that's never going to happen and there's no use talking about it.

I just saw pic related today which was four hours long. It was one of the greatest films I've ever seen. Not even Evangelion compares to it.
