It's full of subtext and parallels.

I liked that brown haired guy. Forgot his name.

you mean light brown? yeah, masayuki was great

ending was difficult to understand

so hes gonna rape them or what?

It's actually very bad.

why?

You're a shit eating retard but that's alright user.

were the previews important to understand the episodes, or just useless harcore fanservice?

Its good up until the ending

God that ending was a fucking insult

it was the only logical conclusion

You got to pay attention to the details.
I just watch the first episode as a refresher.

It starts like he's having a memory of his -clearly dead- sister, and there's a fly buzzing on her lips.
Then he wakes up to record his dream. "Sister didn't wake up". Sooo, he's clearly in denial.
He asks his new therapist if he can do hypnosis to help him remember things. And the therapist warns him that hypnosis can create false memories.
We see the memory again, only this time there is no fly on her mouth and her lips are moving.

Dunno if it was good but it was interesting

Are you implying the last words of his sister were in reality just a fake memory? Interesting. But that wouldn't make sense...

Also, maybe, that memory he saw during the hypnosis would be an older one, previous to the the dream's memory

It is not. There's nothing to explain.

Is this one of those paranormal shows that's only paranormal from the kid's perspective and everything we see is just their imagination?

Those kind of shows always make me feel bad.

Why?

Can you provide an example? Is there an anime like this?
Anyway, nope, it's not the case of Ghost Hound.

I think it's a bit of both. Like spooky shit starts happening and so they assume everything that's out of the ordinary is paranormal. And it's up to the audience to discern what's real, imaginary, and supernatural.

It's like, kids play with Oujia board and summon an angry ghost. Dog starts freaking out - they blame it on the ghost. But in reality is the retarded grocer's son that shouldn't be left alone with kid or animals. Oh, but the ghost is still real.

With Ghost Hound, I don't remember if the connection was actually made or not. But the "sacred" mountain was releasing underground gas because of a mining operation on the other side of the mountain. They were crossing over and stuff. But there were also hallucinations. And imaginations running wild.

It has excellent character development. I honestly can't decide who is best boy

>But the "sacred" mountain was releasing underground gas because of a mining operation on the other side of the mountain.
What? I just rewatched the series: they never mentioned no gas nor mining operation on the mountain. It'd have made the supernatural things more plausible. But no, there is nothing of it.

It's not. It was definitely entertaining though.
