１０巻で予想されていたことですが、ザイの完全な殲滅と同時にアニマ達は全員消失します
もちろん、グリペンも含めて。ラストはいきなり１０年後でそこで主人公、慧が戦闘機乗り
になり、グリペン戦闘機を操る場面で物語は終わります。ここら辺の展開があまりに惨すぎて
悲しくなりました。全体的に見るとこの話は、ミンホワの存在意義がイマイチ分からなかったり
序盤で消えてしまったライノが結局最後まで復活しなかったり（ベルクトは復活したのに）
イーグルの影が薄かったり、慧の祖父母たちは結局最後まで登場しなかったりで
キャラ達を完全に生かしきれなかった気がします。
作者自身ももどう話を展開すべきか分からなくなってきたような印象もありました。
あとがきでは、サイドストーリーや前日談などで続巻が出る予定となっていましたが、
本編がこの内容ではとても買う気が起きません。まあ、力技でアニマ達が復活する話にでも
なれば別ですけど、話の終わり方を見る限りそういう展開はなさそうなので、この巻を
もって自分はガーリーエアフォースの話とはおさらばすると思います。
にしても、こういう形で話を終わらせるとアニメ版の売り上げにも悪影響が出そうで

As was predicted in the volume 10, the Animas dissappear simultaneously with the annihilation of Xi. Of course, Gripen included. The final abruptly jump 10 years later, showing Kei becominf a figther pilot, flying an actual Gripen and this is how the story ends. The development to this point became way too cruel and sad. When I look at the whole picture, I don't understand the reason for Minghua being there.
Rhino, who dissappeared first doesn't come back until the end (even though Berkut came back).
Eagle stayed in the background, Kei's grandparent never appeared.
I didn't feel like the characters were utilized as good as they could have been.
I also got an impression that the author himself had lost the understanding of how he should develop the story.
There were some plans for afterwords, side stories and prequels, but when the main story is like that I don't feel like buying them at all. Well, if they forcibly ressurect the Anima that's a different story, but because the way the story ends makes this development unlikely, I think I'll say goodbye to Girly Air Force with this volume.
In any case, when you end a story like this, it's likely to negatively influence the sales of the anime. While it's none of my business, I'm a bit worried.

アニメ放送期間中のリリースにこだわった影響があったのか、本編最終巻にしては薄い。
内容は少年漫画の王道を行くような仲間たちとの最終決戦の描写と、それに慧とグリペンの二人の結末については好みが分かれるところでしょうが、意外性は無かったもののそれなりにうまく落とし込んだのではないかと思います。
白き善良少女の復活はグッジョブ。
本編は終わりましたが、シリーズ自体はまだ続くとのことですので、叶うのであれば、ぜひ緑の毒舌慈母の活躍をお願いします（意外にドジっ子の一面の描写などがあったりしたら嬉しい）

I really like the anime but, i don't understand the author with this ending.
Yes, it is sad but I think it is a bad move because it can influence negatively the disc and manga sales (there are 4-5 chapters at the moment).
I know Japanese people like sad endings more than the west but not everybody. I think It Will definitely affect disc sales.
About the manga, I think they have to announce that it will take a different path (with another ending, I don't know). They have plans for spin-off or other series but with this ending, i don't see them selling very well. I was also looking for spoilers on Twitter and read that some Japanese cried and were sad about the ending.

Unlike the japanese anima, she's been raised by a guy who thinks she's a machine/computer and not a person. Her comments imply she's inherited a similar view of herself.
She may also know some things she isn't letting on. The anima clearly have some sort of instinctual understanding of the Xi and why they want to destroy humanity (or just cities?) as well as a bit of a disregard for human life on an individual level.

Gripen is 100% viable for the full campaign. SASM cheeses bossfights super hard, LACM makes ground attack missions a breeze, and you can just grab missile homing through the Hornet missile upgrade tree to optimize your missiles.

It's a great entry point. The feel of the jets is the best in the series.
As far as the aircraft tree goes, you'll want to go F-16C -> Mirage 2000 -> Gripen -> Tomcat -> Hornet -> go through the upgrades to get MSL quick and SpW Power. That'll make your SASMs hit like a truck even if they miss slightly, your standard missiles great, and you'll have the weapon capacity upgrade so you'll be carrying a shitload of extra missiles.

Would you guys consider this to be a bad ending? To me it seems to be more of an intended tragic one. Given the nature of things, and how the Animas are made it was probably an expected outcome. Honestly, if the author had planned for this type of ending (which he probably did considering the volume pun) then I can respect that. But I guess one issue is that the series doesn't really give that type of dark tone, at least not in the anime. The timing of the release is a bit unfortunate though.
Maybe Kei is traumatized? I don't read the LNs so I don't know whether or not he actually had romantic feeling for any of the Animas, but I'm sure it had a big impact on him.
