As far as anime goes, this is true. People who cry about a certain anime being "style over substance" are delusional because anime having "substance" is exceedingly rare to begin with.

Top right, middle left and bottom right are the only good ones. People should stop filling grids with generic close-ups.

It has a low overall impact on an animes quality, so not very much.
You can sic the best director on a shit premise and it will remain shit.

Doesn't matter. Bar top right, they are still terribly generic shots. You're also really fucking shit at multiple things. First off, color coding and arangement. Second, making grids for shows.

TV shows should never have more than 2-3 episodes shoved into the same grid. And the only reason you'd want to shove multiple episodes into the same grid would be interconnected subarcs by the same episode director. You just took an episodic show and shoved 34 screencaps into the same grid. That's terrible form. If you choose to do something as stupid as that you should at least have the decency to reduce it to the 9 best frames or something.

define generic, provide an example of better arrangement for episodic shows, drop the arbitrary 9 frames limit and the arbitrary episode limit

once you do that I'll be willing to take you seriously, otherwise I'll take it as yet another empty criticism from somebody that doesn't contribute to the stupid thread

It doens't matter what you think. The grid looks like dogshit, plain an simple. There's no system, so color coordination, nothing. It's just a random dump of images. Nobody gives a shit about your approval, but 9/10 people will likely consider it a godawful grid. This looks like complete shit compared to the other available Hyouka grids, too. So I guess you're simply less competent then the other people who bother to make them.
