The site had a great UI and did not suck.

I just tried going in and this crap received me.
Fuck. I really liked this site and its interface, very user friendly and easy to move in. It even had the schedule and everything had their respective thumbnails, something as simple as that was my reason for using it instead of other sites.
It will be deeply missed, rip masterani.

I don't care about streaming websites going dark.

You will not be missed.

twist.moe says hello

Gotta love how all the people who insult streamfags are stuck in the early 00s. Streaming is a legitimate option nowadays and you're retarded if you disagree. You people are completely fucking retard. I might have 12TB of storage but at least I am not as stupid as you who are elitist because they don't understand that technology has evolved.

more like streamfags are stuck in early 00s

video streaming has actually improved ever so slightly in the past 15 years, believe it or not.

>steaming
Mods just fucking nuke this thread please

>torrent website goes down
We need a new tracker!

>streaming website goes down
Everything is lost.

Even if you don't care about the quality difference, this incident is just one example why streaming is not a smart choice.

>Streaming

Not the case. There are dozens of streaming websites. Only retards manage their anime on a streaming website. Do you manage your anime on fucking Nyaa? No you don't you mouth-breathing retard.

>streaming

video streaming like Youtube and Twitch? sure. but definitely not with anime streaming site.

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODS

The absolute state of Yea Forums.

The only acceptable stream is manga streaming.

>streaming

>streaming manga

If it's on websites that host the original files.

Naw, I prefer having softsubs thankyouverymuch.

Fuck those faggots, and fuck you OP.

OP here

sorry not sorry

I hope all streaming and torrent sites get nuked
If you're not buying BDs you deserve to get filtered

Based

>buying physical media that aren't art books
LMAO look at this madlad and lauugh at him

I like watching early youtube spoiler stream

>streaming is bad
>98% of Yea Forums watches horriblesubs, which are literally ripped streams

What even is this site?
I don't watch anime btw.

Pressing D to dab on streamniggers.

everything is streaming by your logic because the source is live television broadcast.

>the source is live television broadcast
No it isn't, mongrel.

>streaming is just as better!
>he says while he complains about ads, malware, adblock blocks and his favorite sites getting shut down

>one day Animebytes will go down
Think I'll just stop watching anime at that point.

>one day copyright will be so strong that every piracy will go down
I learned nip already but it's going to be useless isn't it?

>streaming
Fucking kill yourself. If you stream you are a stupid nigger. The darkest retard nigger gorilla in the whole world. You are worth less than a fucking isekai author.

As an IP lawyer I can tell that this might actually become reality 10 years down the line. If blockchain is efficiently used and developed I can see complete data surveillance by 2030. Then again, pirates will probably find a way to get around it, eventually.

>If blockchain is efficiently used and developed I can see complete data surveillance by 2030
Stick the lawyering.

>twist.moe
only problem I have with them is that they dont have older shows and they're slow with daily releases

I unironically stopped watching anime the moment commiesubs died.

It has incredible potential and has already been in the test phase for multiple years. What stops it from being a relevant tool to force takedowns by 2030?

>pirates will probably find a way to get around it
sikret club as usual with the only way to get in is nepotism, having "friends" to invite you in. piracy is going to die.

only if BakaBT goes down too, then its truly over

>not reading manga in youtube
Step the fuck up senpai

>It has incredible potential and has already been in the test phase for multiple years
To do what exactly? How can you force a takedown using blockchain?
You can move the entire internet onto a blockchain.

recently converted torrentfag after being a streamfag for half a decade, can anyone enlighten me on which torrent sites to use

im using nyaa.si btw

Given how the proposal of upload and download filters becomes more and more common, they are bound to be implemented at some point. Give it another 10 years and, assuming that the EU still exists by that point, I wouldn't be surprised if they had passed the law by then. Once the filter is in place, your secret clubs won't really matter anymore.

can't*

Animebytes and BakaBT, but unfortunately they are private. Otherwise just nyaa.

You can't filter it without banning and enforcing ban on consumer encryption which is unlikely to occur.

Makes it incredibly easy to fitler for legitmate files. Various platforms already use it to distribute music. You add this and it will basically be such a huge pain in the ass to download copyrighted material than noone's gonna bother anymore.
Given how they are even proposing a filter, I wouldn't be so sure anymore.

To add to this. They don't even need to ban encryption. They can simply strongarm ISPs into denying consumers the option. They are in their rights to do so.

in the future, the idea of "buying" content will disappear. even now, you can't really "buy" ebook, you can only "rent" or "subscribe" the license and then it will disappear when the store is gone for whatever reason. de-DRM is the only way to actually own the content you buy, but I think even that will disappear in the future when the protection is going to be stronger than ever. it's a grim future. and it will happen for sure.

It got shut down because faggots like all of you kept on mentioning it, There's a reason I never mention any site I go to

What platforms distribute music through a blockchain? Blockchain performance is garbage compared to other systems, visa processes vastly more transactions per second than any crypto currency. Now compare to how many TCP packets are going around the world. Are they going to shut off entire TCP/HTTP stack and move to blockchain? It will grind to a halt.
>Given how they are even proposing a filter, I wouldn't be so sure anymore.
If you encrypt the media file it's effectively random bytes to the filter. You can share the text password out of band or in anyway yo want, how will the filter know what is the password?

darkweb shit huh? People don't know where shit is if the url isn't known. Hell you can't even use google to find most streaming websites.

alright tell me an alternative RIGHT FUCKING NOW

see ISPs don't provide my encryption I can encrypt locally using 7zip, trucrypt, etc.
Yes if you purely rely on TLS then they can probably mitm and do deep packet inspection etc but if I encrypt locally they're shit out of luck unless they want to burn some zero day vulnerability they got from the NSA to stop my anime sharing which is never going to happen.

spanish anime fanpages on facebook

youtube does a pretty good job

Pornhub

>If you encrypt the media file it's effectively random bytes to the filter
I was referring to datastream encryption, not local encryption. If you were to encrypt the files locally then I am not sure how they'd handle it, albeit I'd be surprised if there weren't a few ideas already, otherwise the filter could essentially be shredded with next to no effort.

Um, where is the loli?
