It's too bad Naruto was written and basically finished before Food Wars. Kishimoto-sensei could really learn a thing from Yuto-sensei about how to write a decent Shonen series. The way the characters are fleshed out and the comedy is 100% better than Kishimoto's work. Megumi is the standard that all shy, non-confident dere characters should be written. It's not the greatest Shonen series but it's definitely better than a Naruto.

Of Naruto? No. If anything it gets worse. Kishimoto-sensei was pushed really hard by his editor to talk more about the Uchiha's. It does nothing but powerwank through the rest of the series and turn Naruto into some over glorified messiah.

No, it doesn't. the last 300 or so chapters of the 700 chapter long series are just one large fight that takes place over what, 1 week I think? also there was a villain later who had a gourd like Gaara, but instead of containing sand, it contained the souls of people who, in the presence of the gourd, said the word they uttered the most times in their life. The fucking word-gourd was it for me, i couldn't anymore. look up the Benihisago.

So the gourd repeated "the the the the the the" at them? Wouldn't that just bore your opponent?
