I think isekai are lagging behind in story conventions.
In western lit, the current trend is "convergence points" that tie worlds together. Where synchronicity allow travel between worlds. So you have parallel worlds with completely different geology and development. But coincidentally each have a town with the same name, with a bridge or crossroad where realities occasionally blur. Accidental crossover, rather than intentional summoning.
Then utilizing the genre conventions in a new way, the protagonist still has to combine knowledge from his world and with this other world to find or create new parallels that will allow them to get back home.

For example: they remember a pub was being converted into a bookstore in their home so they concoct a plan to acquire a pub in this world and convert it into a bookstore with the same name and hopefully converge enough "coincidences" and probable synchronicity to turn a book with a similar qualities into a portal to crossover.
Accidentally drawing more people into that world, then ultimately linking to a hypothetical multiverse library (because their bookstore was like a miniature version of that) with precision linking capabilities to return everyone home or an ideal version of their home with reassuring knowledge that fate and divine intelligence is real. Inspiring readers to pursue, contribute, and encode new ideas and experiences of their own as stories for the purpose of connecting with others.

Goblin Slayer's world is just generic DnD and everyone else are generic DnD characters but the whole point of GS and the reason he is special is that he is so autistic with his preparations that he doesn't depend on chance (aka dice rolls) at all.
It would be impossible to do something like that in a legit DnD game, no GM would allow a player to avoid every dice rolls by being autistic and the other players wouldn't like it either.

Goblin Slayer is 5e and he's essentially doomed to never make it above level 5. Once you reach the mid levels, goblins cease to be a threat no matter their numbers.

Someone needs to tell the truth. It is truly, unironically, terrible. The writing is bad at a technical level. The whole thing feels like half remembering a dream. There are huge chunks unsaid, some of it can be inferred, but other parts are just oddities of the dream. Do the parents know? Do they care? Did they interpret the odd responses of their daughter as phase, mental illness, normal growing up? The mc is canonically retarded? The mother too? They are just pretending? etc etc etc

It is bad user, really bad.

We know almost nothing about the world, nothing but a passing note about like two characters and all the happiness can be resumed into a paragraph without losing anything. I am not saying that a story can't be told like that, but probably not this story, and certainly not with a execution as poor as this.
Even if for a moment I assume that all of this is intentionally, I think it is not for several reasons, you are still doing it wrong. For a moment I actually believed that the MC was just obsessed with robots and did not give a fuck about the others aspects of her new life. But the level of detachment and lack of detail is prevalent to all parts of the story.

The world of GS is a DnD campaign between the gods, who use different people as their characters (Priestess was one before the god abandoned her when it seemed like she would get gobbed).
The reason Goblin Slayer is special is that he is so autistic that he doesn't allow the gods to roll the dice, meaning that he leaves nothing to chance. So literally everything he does is him being a smartass and one-upping the "GMs", it's just that they allow it because they find it amusing.
The few times he leaves things to chance he gets royally fucked up.

Well the Gate scroll had essentially been introduced literally right before he used it which reeks to me of asspull (though I'd also argue it's a gigantic, unimaginably huge waste of resources). It's just that the GM seems to pull his punches when it comes to him.

Remember when he got smashed by that huge hob and he looked like he died but it turns out he landed on a hollow stone instead? That reeks to me of "eh I rolled a x4 critical hit, woah shit I confirmed, fuck I rolled max damage dude you're like at -45 hitpoints, you know what I'll fudge the map a bit". I did something similar, I rolled three longbow crits in a row against someone who was against a wall and said 'you know what fuck it, the wall caved in and you fell backwards into the sewer canal"

Goblin Slayer's version of it would count as Evil, but that's him being Evil and not wishing *for* Evil. The Solar might nuke GS's ass out of existence to finish the job I guess but either way there would be zero goblins left in the world.
