Last time, Kanade might not have earned the scholarship from the Royal Ballet but she did manage to earn a short term week long scholarship to a school in Marseille that employs Garrel, much to Kanade's delighted surprise. But if she's going to live abroad in the future then Kanade's parents want to start instilling in her how to do basic laundry, cooking and such. Meanwhile in Munich, Sakura seemed to be having a hard time with her classmates. She seemed disappointed by Kanade's bronze medal and when asked about living abroad told Kanade to just do it and see for herself.
This time, Kanade begins to prepare for her trip to France.
Well Japs don't have the easiest time learning non-Jap languages. Plus Kanade's a blockhead and has spent most of her foreign language time on English.
So Kanade's been able to find some images and nothing more. Takimoto's got a bit of a mysterious background and things she wants to hide and forget obviously.
That's all for this chapter. Next time, Kanade will continue trying to learn more about her teacher while starting up pas de deux classes.
That's too bad for her since english isn't even a language.

I think for most other characters the fact that they've been doing this for this long and didn't realize shit about their teacher, having a website or that most of the terms were French already would be dumb. But Kanade's so hyper-focused on improving to the exclusion of just about everything else that it feels perfectly in character.

Not judging, granted I was never as involved into extracurriculars as her, I didn't know shit or sought anything about my school or extracurricular activities beyond what I was given/told, back in 6th grade. I can totally see how she would be unaware of all that and why it wouldn't have come up before.
I can also see the internet both being very restrictive and still convoluted for a 12 year old Japanese to navigate properly. Probably don't need to go beyond your family to imagine how poor the average person's google-fu is...
