Reminds me a bit of Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter. Where you can partially bring stat points into a NG+, even when you hit a fail condition. Though of course you play as a dragon in that game, and the dragon hunters are assholes.
Sun Cult gets hyped so much. I really want to see them in action. But I get the feeling we won't see them until we leave Leese, which means we probably won't see them until we kill Artemesia. We've made pretty good progress through her elites, so far. Five down, if I recall, and two more are about to fight Ragna and Silverware in the next month, or so, which should mean two more casualties... maybe next year we'll get to see the Sun Cult?

Credits page. Going to take a short break from dumping.
>Bestowed the title of king Huh. So it's not just a matter of "who is strongest." Actually, chapter 9 already implied that it's age? But... hmm. There are questions to be answered regarding these lizards.
>Sun Aura So... I guess that's how the Sun Cult fights, then? The king describes them as having power beyond human limits, which is the same way Crimson describes Ragna. But obviously Ragna is special/different since Crimson isn't tripping over himself to get a Sun Cult monk on his side. Plus, if the Sun Cult could do the same things Ragna could, then you'd expect to see their tech/magic in more places.
With how hard the Sun Cult is being hyped I'm a little worried they're gonna job and all get wiped out off-screen since this manga seems to thrive off of subverting expectations
I'm expecting to meet them in the next region that Ragna and Crimson go to. Probably not their full force, though. Maybe an elite and some mooks. Maybe one of their faces triggers a memory of Ragna's. They assist each other in a small way, which gives Ragna and Crimson entry into the Sun Cult in an arc or two. Crimson sees if he can manipulate some gear/power/authority/muscle out of the situation, Ragna tries not to remember which of them were friends of his that died. Crimson ultimately uses the Sun Cult's HQ in a giant trap to murder a King, then tosses them to the side, leaving enough people/resources to rebuild. I also expect Leo to end up working for the Sun Cult, since if she wants to catch up to or surpass Ragna, that's her only real option. Which maybe leads Ragna to consider the "sleeping beauty" method that Crimson suggested.
Bets on this thing being used again? Maybe Silverware takes control of it?
>A 9th class Now wait a minute... I've been working under the impression that there were a specific number of superior dragons in a single clan of brethren. But "a" implies that there may be multiple instances of each class... right?
This is the page that makes me hate Artemesia the most, by the way. >Should we destroy this kingdom? >Who? >Well, God basically told us to destroy the kingdom, and kill every human inside with zero error! Let's get started with genocide! Fucking fanatics, man.
Does crimson have any powers? I get that she sealed off her dragon king power/weaknesses, but if she's basically just a human the trade-off seems kind of weird given she's having trouble moving her own body.
From what we've seen, it seems wholly uninterested/unconcerned with the world. Artemesia is just a fucking nutter.
Robert Campbell
Wonder what BS powers the Dragon God will have. Arty has time powers, we dont know crimsons powers but it claims to be cursed with immortality so there's that.
Nicholas Green
Seems like Crimson still has access to dimensional magic, but their body is basically a human one, immortality aside.
I thought that was just a result of the key she pulled out of her ass at the start of the thread and she also calls the room a "hidden technique" later.
Lightning Dragon looks legitimately upset. His intentions went from: "I'm going to keep you alive and make it sound like a punishment," to, "I deeply disapprove of you turning him into one of us." Think that was him trying to rebel? Leave a powerful human alive so that they can kill him and free him from the bondage of the blood curse/blessing?
Crimson's original power may have been space magic. But most of the stuff they do besides the body-hopping is done through devices/objects, including opening up their dimension. Could be that before he sealed his powers, he made a series of tools/artifacts with the powers embedded in them? Crimson seems to work via indirect methods, now, such as Golem, Slime and Chimera.
Crimson tried when he was a dragon king, but failed (probably something inherent in being a dragon king that prevents you from harming dragon god). Crimson was cursed with highly specific immortality, and sealed away his powers to remove/reduce draconic traits. Presumably he also made that dimension key, Chimera, Golem and Slime in that time period, while stockpiling weapons/gear and establishing hidden bases. Crimson has spent a long, long, long time trying to get the dragon genocide started, but I'm guessing that with how easy it is for a king to make seija, that it's normally like trying to drain a lake with a bucket. Gotta take out the kings to stem the flow of seija, and then go from there.
John White
Yeah, seems like Crimson's original power was definitely space/dimensional related, and mainly uses objects created from before sealing off their power.
Regarding Lightning Dragon, I do think he's trying to rebel to the best of his abilities, given how he interferes in the other flashback.
I'm thinking this might be part of the reason why Crimson sealed off their power/dragon form, maybe he can't actually actively rebel without doing that.
Asher Bennett
Seems accurate since the dimensional space later gets fucked up by ragna's silver aura.
Dylan Flores
Which would imply it IS magic (dragon magic? Is there a difference?) since we saw silver aura fucks up all dragon powers, even when it doesn't make sense. Since we know all things have aura, that aura can be converted into different kinds, and imbued into other things... that actually explains how you'd enchant objects in this setting fairly simply.
Cooper Morris
What's seija?
Michael Hall
See you guys tomorrow. Make sure to thank Crimson for making your lives worth something in the grand scheme of things unlike that despicable winged king who just wants you to disappear like a fart in the wind.
What the brethren/superior dragons call themselves. I write that sometimes because it's shorter.
is crimson a guy or girl? Why does it have tits in this pic?
Caleb Young
can change genders at will. i guess looking at the newer chapters which gave a brief glimpse of their human past they were depicted as a dude.
Adam Powell
I fucking love his face there Also loving that last panel.
Jack Richardson
This image is what made me discovered this manga in first place.
Joshua Martinez
Yes that was the reason started reading, though i thought it would be a completely different manga from that image i wasn't at all disappointed when i found out what kind of manga it actually was.
Logan Gomez
Same. OPTs are fun.

I think I also learned about this manga from that image, it's been a while.
