I'm on episode 23, when does this show get good?
I'm on episode 23, when does this show get good?
You've been filtered, brainlet.
In 12 episodes
That doesn't answer my question
It doesn't
Manga is faster.
episode 1
is it structured differently than the anime, or is the pacing just better?
On rewatch.
>implying you know how to use the filter
If you got that far the show probably just isn't for you, what don't you like about it?
Fucking at best one episode can cover (partially) 3 chapters, usually 2. A chapter can be read from 4 to 7 minutes depending on how text heavy it is and assuming you aren't speedreading and check out art.
It took Gon 5 chapters of the manga and 5 episodes of 2011 anime to grab Killua from his mansion after Hunter exam.
Let's assume you aren't speedreading scum, you read into text and you checked out the art and overall it took you 10 minutes per chapter to read that part of the story. By the time you are finished with this story arc you will spend 50 minutes of reading. But if you chose to watch anime instead you'd be only half done with episode 3 (assuming you don't skip OPs and EDs because you aren't scum).
It should be fucking obvious which is faster.
Episode 2
bad bait, you should have said episode 3 or 6, instead you watched 20 whole episodes of something you don't like which no one does
I've been trying to force myself through this show for about a year now, only reason why I'm still willing to watch is because my friends swear it gets better
Watched an episode on adult swim once
it sucks don't bother
The exam arc might be kind of boring on the first watch because it just feels like an average shonen at that point. I'd say that Yorknew is when it starts getting really good.
Drop it
HE and HA are meh but Yorknew is really good, GI is fun, and your mileage with the CA may vary but most agree that it has an excellent payoff.
One piece thread is making fun of again
You are very close. I was about to drop it before episode 27, when the power system people really like is finally introduced. Stick with it until you get to the Yorknew arc ten episodes later and you'll be glad you did, guaranteed
I usually hate the "it gets better" mentality, but I'm willing to defend HxH here
Yorkshin arc around episode 40 if i remember correctly.
When you start watching it wanting to enjoy it instead of wanting to shitpost about it.
I'm currently on the Chimera ant arc (ep. 109) and the show can be lame af at times but when it's good, it's GOOD
