That seems like the most obvious solution, which means it probably won't happen.

Maybe the friend works for TEIA.
Or maybe Fukumoto just wants to escape the house arc as fast as possible because he got an idea for something else.

It's up in the air whether Endou fucks up or Kaiji if that's the route they are going, since Endou seems to have predicted the probability of him changing disguises but is also working with a bunch of retards.

I don't think Kaiji knows how to operate a moped.
And walking away from the block instead of driving away is basically just announcing that it's a different person under the helmet, Endou is sure to notice that.

I could see either of these happening considering that Kaiji can't even drive a car let alone a moped.
He's been fairly cautious so far and I can't see him making a mistake like
Kaiji should of suspected that they've been monitoring the people coming out of the exit.

The next 5 chapters will be dedicated to kaiji learning how to drive a moped.

Right now kaiji doesn't really know how his friend exits the building, that being with a helmet on. If that sort of intel gets dropped he can start thinking about doing a switcharoo.

Kaiji is going to get his mother and friend to switch the whole building brick by brick with another one. Then because we can't determine which building is the original one ( the one that we switched with or the one that has all the bricks ) Kaiji will be able to be inside both buildings and not inside both building at the same time. Then he just escapes from the building Endo isn't watching.

They're probably going to try adn break into his mom's house when she goes to work in the morning, and Kaiji will enter his friends place.

I doubt this whole thing is going to last long, time wise, because Endo and the rest may as well just rush into it first thing in the morning.
