That's all for today, and for this volume.

No explosion today. Just some mild psychosis. No big deal. I guess you could also call this the time Planetes almost became an isekai.

Thanks m8.

Hey, fairly OK russian speech. She says:"You are mister Hoshino, yes? I heard about you from my son. I'm Leonov's mother. I know you dragged my son to safety. I shudder to think what would have happened if you weren't there. Thank you, thank you very much. Thank you."

SPAAAAAAAAACE! I'm in space.

>Planetes almost became an isekai.
I Got Hit By A Truck And Have Been Reincarnated As A Spaceship Heading For Jupiter

>Vikings

Manga Tanabe is much cuter than anime Tanabe.

A Vikings baseball jersey, for some reason.

Hell, yeah, Jupiter, here I come! Fuck having friends, and fuck psych eval (not like we had any).

>fuck psych eval
If you needed one, I don't think anyone would be on the crew.

Well, usually, I'd think every person chosen for high-risk, high-tension mission would need psych eval as a default. Like, this guy might be a great specialist, but do we really want to be with him on a ship that's gonna be an isolated environment for several years? Stuff like that is why crews spend so much time on Earth training together. They MUST be sane and compatible or mission runs an unacceptable risk of failure.

That's in a rational and safety-focused world. Locksmith blew up over 300 people by pushing testing too fast. Shouldn't a test that that's dangerous be remotely operated instead of the middle of a lab? I think he just sees all the crew to be just as expendable.

Which is why no one sane would sign up. This guy has already shown an unbelievable disregard for safety.

Space, not even once.

>Read manga, really enjoy it
>Watch anime, it's fucking obnoxious

What the fuck.

Odd. I found the anime to be vastly superior to the manga. I love both though.

Yeah, the more I read the manga the lower my opinion of the anime gets. What was with the moon ninjas and other original characters? The tone was really different on all the original things.

Не за что.

26 manga chapters into 26 episodes means a lot of time to fill. Why was it a full 26 episodes in the first place?

Planetes is better than Gits and its true successor

I'm watching the anime. How faithful is the adaptation?

If only there were some posts talking about that, maybe just a few above yours.

Thanks for the chapter. I could call this chapter "this is your brain on space".
>I guess you could also call this the time Planetes almost became an isekai
That would be fun, imagine Hachi being isekai'd to your typical RPG world while he just want to go to jupiter.

Note. Alexey Leonov, who this Leonov might be named after, is the first human who did EVA in space.

You could probably abuse magic to make it happen. It will depend on the exact system used, but the easiest I can think of is using water breathing, control water, and some source of heat to make yourself a water bubble spaceship.

Thanks for the translation user.

Thank you!

abunai

uhhh, that wasn't awkward. it was totally not awkward at all.

I'm confused. Did tanabe save hachi from the moon accident?

Hachi was never in that much danger. He could have walked to safety easily on his own. He was only risking running out of oxygen because he was carrying the other guy. So indirectly, she did.

Okay thanks. For some reason I thought I missed something and he hallucinated them.

She wasn't aggressive enough for one of his hallucinations.

Took him this long to realize what Yuri knew since chapter 1.

Really? I thought it was the other way around. Manga Tanabe sort of comes across as a bitch, whereas anime Tanabe has a shade of genki to make it more understandable when she goes full retard with her sentimentalism bullshit.

Not him, but I agree with him. The anime version goes too far with that. Manga feels like a person with flaws, anime feels like a caricature.

So far Tanabe doesn't feel realistic in both version.
