fuck tumblrina to be honest
Don't you think it's great, user?
I'd be ok with these designs if they weren't fat and their faces weren't ugly. Reverse traps are my fetish
Dude
>fat ugly tumblr pigs comparing themselves to lines on paper because muh insecurity
What else is new.
?
what the fuck
i wish i was good at drawing so i could fire back with an anime-fied american cartoon characters.
But that's nothing new. The solution would be to design more revealing outfits.
>narrow faces
this should be a crime
This one is kinda cute
this thread is confirmation that Yea Forums designs are shit and just getting worse
Does that mean short, ugly and chunky?
Just like their """"artists"""""!!
Why do these people even "watch anime"?
Commiemoon
I bet most of them don't
The linework triggers me more than the designs to be honest. Desexualizing designs is an interesting character design exercise.
Also taking off the chinese buns is unforgivable. They're probably the most essential part of Usagi's design.
>Desexualizing designs is an interesting character design exercise.
Yikes who introduced the fucking Sharia patrol to anime?
What the fuck is that? And I mean everything. Even the rifle is fucked. Fuck these people.
Not gonna quote all of them, but why the FUCK do they have baboon noses? Like, I get that pants keep them warmer and that a little bit of extra blubber will keep them warmer in winter, but why do they feel the need to add those huge baboon noses?
Never heard of the Tumblr nose?
I actually like they design. They just look too stumpy.
No, I'm all too familiar with tumblr noses. I just want to know the actual reason as to why they look like a monkey's nose since that's objectively what they look like.
Not even mad about they fact they're ugly cows. These are just genuinely bad redesigns
>Revy is a homocidal psychopath who gets off on danger and violence. Kills anybody that would stand in her way without so much as a iota of remorse. She's the main enforcer for her crew and doesn't take shit from absolutely anybody
>But let's make her wear a jacket and longer shorts because her design is sexist and strictly for the male gaze without considering how it might objectify her. We need to start judging women by their character!
Anything that favors variety, creativity, and flexibility in designs is interesting. It also helps you gain awareness of your designing habits. Why do you always give girls miniskirts? Does it say something about the character, if so, what? If not, does it say something about you? Is a miniskirt really pertinent for this particular character, taking her personality, role into the story, and the art direction of the entire project into consideration? Can you make a character sexy even with conservative clothing? Can you make a character modest or even repulsive even with a lewd bodytype and sexy clothing?
I know you're just getting triggered because of your worthless politics but yes, this is genuinely interesting, no matter what you say.
Here's an interesting case. Most wannabe artists usually hide hands because they suck at drawing them. But not this time. This time, we're using hands to hide what is otherwise an ugly face.
>Sailor Moon had a running sub theme of embracing the feminine and the girly, making it cool, and showing it as a source of power.
>Cover up that skin, you whore!
I like the design, honestly. Would work well in an older story. But Sailor Moon was a series created by a woman, for girls. I hope the artist had reasoning for the redesign beyond wanting to show less skin.
10/10
I guarantee the snowflakes will still find fault with the "respectable" image if you post it while acting like a normal "incel".
Their magnum opus is finding fault, not fixing problem.
>I hope the artist had reasoning
user...
>I hope the artist had reasoning for the redesign beyond wanting to show less skin
I don't think that's the case. But I can't say I dislike the militaristic twist on it. It would look good with better art.
Post more, I've come to enjoy being mad.
I don't think I'll ever understand these """"""people""""""
>Act like whores and often dress like it
>"We must cover up those poor, fictional 2D women who are being sexualised!"
These would literally not fly in-universe because of the way life fibers work
They don't give a fuck. SKIN IS BAD.
It's because they're fat and ugly but want to feel sexy and pretty. Also, actually sexy/pretty girls makes them insecure so they want them to cover up.
Sasug/a/, I guess.
At least Revy looks like the kind of chink piece of shit mutt she's supposed to be.
>ike the design, honestly. Would work well in an older story. But Sailor Moon was a series created by a woman, for girls. I hope the artist had reasoning for the redesign beyond wanting to show less skin.
The Artist is Russian, titled the picture "admiral moon" - play on words intended - and kinda tried to to make the uniform look a bit more like a Russian naval officer's jacket.
>What did he mean by this?
Magical Girls are designed to appeal to girls. What girl would like those outfits? I don't understand.
Save for the face, this one isn't too atrociously bad.
>Magical Girls are designed to appeal to girls
he rite tho
>every little girl I knew went through a sailor moon phase
>guys who jack it to magical girls are in the minority, and after they grow up
