Arguable one of the few legitimately good people pre conviction.

>The Count choosing not to sacrifice his daughter and being dragged off to hell instead.
Blackswordman Arc had some good characters.
>good people
are you sure? when the count died this little dude dragged his ugly ass to hell.
I didn’t say he was perfect, we all got our vices
but to be sent to hell for wanting justice for his family? common.
The count was pretty rapey after all
well hold on. this little dude didnt do anything but want justice. this is when I thought that in berserk there is no heaven only hell.
or the fact that the human relm is as close to heaven as you can get.
he must have done something wrong to be sent to hell. Something, if not then in Berserk there is no heaven only hell.
I like all the arcs but Black Swordsman was 10/10 from the build up to the reveals. Golden Age is overrated by animeonlys.
He was in hell because he interacted with the apostles. Being around them is enough to get damned.
Plus, it'd be fitting if there is no peaceful afterlife and everyone ends up going to hell in Berserk.
Golden age is 8/10 - 9 /10 at best
Black swordmans and lost children are easily the best arcs Inthe whole of berserk and 10/10
There's no indication Berserk has anything but hell and maybe nonexistence. And as says, simply interacting with the apostles gets you a ticket to hell.
It went downhill from there for sure
I felt really bad about his death. It was sweet and sad how Puck cared about him. Damn, I miss when Puck was an actual character.
Why does everyone love Lost Children so much?
If we take the IoE episode as canon, hell exists because of humanity's tendency to pass resentment from one generation to the next. So for some type of positive afterlife to be equally prominent a big chunk of humanity would have to be less corrupted/focused on negative things.
Best grill and interesting villain
It's a great highpoint in Guts running a fuckyou marathon and almost burning himself out. Has one of the best man vs monster battles with Rosine and Guts, the not-completely-formed humanbee eggs was also highly disturbing.
Would have been better if Guts didn't call Griffith by his name.
Why do you think it doesn't deserve high praise?
I just don't remember it blowing me away when I first read it. I was more interested in getting to Casca, Griffith, all the stuff established earlier. In all fairness, I probably rushed through it.
*Ahem*
He truely was berserk
Due to how badly the Count fucked his shit up, I feel like we can chalk that one up to karma/causality.
>Casca after this I'll be the become the berserk
Being killed by an apostle will send you straight to hell. My mind's fuzzy when it comes to the idea of evil or whatever that heart was called. I'm not sure if Miura retconned it or just felt it was included to soon. So far nothing about heaven was revealed, wonder what happens to Griffiths souls he sents to the afterlife.
