Around the end of 2016, it was found that Kamiyan was actually married with the Arakawa Under the Bridge mangaka and was also a father, he had to apologize for hiding his marriage and family from his fans, and altough some of his fans supported him it's pretty clear that most of them were upset.

Kamiyan used to tweet a lot about being a lonely guy who only loved his cat and books, in a way, he did lie to his fans, so I feel that he did deserve some backlash, but I do like his voice, so I hope he gets better.
