Does the manga look this bad too? I can't find any scans of this anywhere. Its suppose to be from the 70s right? Nothing about this anime makes sense. I'd say it was cancelled half way through if there weren't pictures of the physical laserdisc on Google images. The fact it was hidden this long until some nobody posted a meme tier clip of it is kind of unsettling too. It just sort of appeared in everyone's recommended feeds one day. I'd be willing to bet this is some kinda marketing campaign for a reboot.

It's actually pretty easy to find some decent obscure stuff. You just have to actively look for it. Spend 5 minutes on MAL clicking through old shit you've never heard off and there'll be something that looks interesting and is probably worth watching.
Go to the page of a studio, scroll down a bunch and pick something that looks like you'd enjoy it. It's not that hard.

Good question. I didn't get it. I didn't get a lot of what her character was about. She only seemed to be interested in traveling with the professor after she learned he was a big wig, like that is the only implication for why she went with him. I don't remember the show stating where she was going before or really what she was doing after.
