He is the most powerful doll.

Say what you want about Kun-Kun, but there is no way he would have taken 1000+ episodes to take down the Black Organization.

Because he is also a living doll, much like the main characters. Additionally he is a puppet, meaning he is operated by a higher figure (which can be viewed as a similarity to the Father, or the master relationships, of which the dolls only have to varying degrees) with a specific intent. Furthermore, he exists to solve and uncover practical problems, as well as villainy, which is another thing that the dolls have a problem accomplishing as successfully in their struggles. He also could be identified as a quasi historical representation of an older era, of which the dolls belonged and are perhaps nostalgic for. Kun Kun embodies everything that the dolls are not, and he is a desired state for him, similar to the idea of Alice.
